Panda Express — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Great service and decent food. It may be because they just opened but the kitchen is well staffed and everything was running smoothly. The menu is your basic westernized Chinese food, mostly empty carbs and sugar. The lobby is weirdly small compared to the kitchen with a 33 person capacity, and it's really awkward to stand in line if there's more than 3/4 people waiting because there's next to no distance between the door and the start of the line. Also, there was someone wearing a beat up hoodie (who I'm assuming was a manager?) that was standing being the cashier and openly staring at customers, it was pretty weird. Yesterday was my second and last trip to Panda Express. I went the day after they opened and bought meals for 3 people. The ordering is confusing and the food is expensive for subpar taste. Thinking the quality may have been because they just opened I went again. This was a worse experience. 3 people $45 without drinks. The crab Rangoon s aren't even edible. I've eaten Chinese food many times in my life and this place was over priced and by far the worst tasting that I've ever experienced. I have nothing good to say about the place other than I'm shocked it's a chain and successful enough to have built another one here. No wonder I was the only car in line....

Not customer focused. I ordered a bowl with orange chicken and asked if she could put ONLY two pieces of Beijing beef and she said no samples. I would have given her back two pieces of Orange chicken in trade. I did not ask for a sample I would have gladley paid for it she still would not. She would only do a second full portion. I did not want a full portion I would waste it. Very poor service to take care of the customer over two pieces of meat. So I pay leave and will not come back over two pieces of meat.
