Amili's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I had order a pizza on a Friday night. It was busy and I was prepared to wait for my delivery order. I was told an hour, but I had to wait two hours for just a large pepperoni pizza.

And whenever I received my pizza, the pizza was undercooked, and I called back the owner and asked for a refund. They ended up coming by to pick up the pizza and I receive my refund. I did not want another pizza, so I ordered from another place.

I didn’t wanna wait two hours for pizza. They had told me they were short staffed, and it made zero sense for to send the delivery driver back to my place to pick up the unwanted pizza if they were already short staffed and we’re running to our deliveries.

The owner consistently argued with me that the pizza comes out on the conveyor belt and is cook the same way. But I tried to explain to him that the more cold items you put into an oven drastically changes. The temperature in my pizza came out uncooked.

Whenever I described to him that I cook for a living and have a culinary degree. He continued to argue with me. I told him look at your fryer. If you put one chicken wing in there will take 15 minutes to cook know if you put the whole fryer and fill it up completely with wings and cook those ones for 15 minutes too. They would not be cooked the wings in the center would be raw.

I had gotten fed up and chose not to order from them for quite some time.

Recently, I was at a friends house and he wanted to order pizza so I decided to call from my phone to order pizza to his house.

They had me on a do not take order list for my phone number and they wouldn’t take my order although I wasn’t ordering pizza for me or for my address. Then, my buddy tried to call to order us pizza, and he had put him on the do not order list whenever he had explained that the owners practices for discriminating people from ordering due to their own incompetency and unable to cook food properly.

I am very upset with this business and how it treats its customers.

I really hope one day that this owner can realize that he cannot rely on paying his staff minimum wage and treating his customers like trash...

So last night my fiancé and I ordered a pick up from them last night. We ordered a white pizza with chicken we received a pizza with red sauce. When we called today and tried to explain that they messed up our order, we where asked why we didn’t call that night. Well sir by the time that my husband got home from picking up the pizza it was after your closing time. Google has their hours listed as closing at 11:30 pm. The owner tried to say that he has nothing listed online. Well sir how it is that we can find you on Google saying that you close at 11:30, your menu etc on Google any way long story short the man said to take our problem with Google. I've been ordering from Amili's using the slice app for delivery of food for the construction crew working on my house. Their drivers or whoever they are getting to deliver do not understand the concept of staying on a driveway and not driving ON someone's property/lawn to turn around. Wet ground, snow covered ground. Last driver did a 9 point turn tearing up my yard turning around. People really can't back up a vehicle in a straight line? I've even told teh drivers when they get there to stay on the driveway and they nod then drive across the grass anyway. Thankfully the work is about done so I won't be bothering to order or eat at this place ever.
