This place sells what I consider to be the best deep dish style pizza I have had in Pittsburgh. The regular pizza is good, but do yourself a favor if you have a little extra coin and go for the margarita style with whatever toppings you would regularly get -- it was outstanding; just look at the added herbs and spices with the bubbly cheese, particularly the meatballs! The sandwiches I have gotten were good as well. The thin crust style wasn't their strongest item but not bad if you fancy a lighter pizza.

Typical Pittsburgh neighborhood sports bar. It's been around for a while, so it's a little worn and in need of some freshening. But the service is great and the food is good. My bbq burger w onion rings was adequate. It was a little bland, a bit dry, and arguous to eat. I wouldn't get it again. But the boatload of double fried fries was addictive. So tasty and crisp. I didn't want to, but I finished them ALL. My wife had a vegetarian strombolli and our friend went w a grilled chicken sandwich.

From the first phone call to the end of the party, the Bado’s food truck was amazing. We hosted an 80th birthday party with a 1950’s diner theme. The crew took the extra effort to add the theme to the food truck as well. Every guest raved about the food. The entire process of working with the family was seemless. My husband and I even stopped at the food truck again two days later at a public event!

My girlfriend and I discovered Bados by accident while exploring Beverly Road. Having been here around five times now, I can safely say that Bados is becoming one of my favorite pubs in the area. They have a very respectable beer selection, particularly in their drafts (~20), and a great bottle selection too (nothing too extreme, but definitely enough to go several times and still have many options available). Their servers vary in beer knowledge; I've run into just as many experts as novices, but no matter which end of the spectrum, the service has been quick and the server friendly and engaging.

I really enjoy the food at Bados as well. Their pizza is what they are most known for, but many of their other dishes are fantastic as well. Bados has a distinct special and/or activity for each day of the week - this is part of what makes this place so great. Their food specials are excellent; I've had their lasagna special which was delicious (they have a Greek chef who makes Moussaka as well as typical Italian lasagna). One night of the week is trivia night, another is Great Lakes beer night ($3.50!), and another is live music. One additional thing I love about somewhere like Bados is that their prices match their portions; if you're paying over $10, expect a lot of food.

Bados is not without its faults - they could definitely have a better mixed drink selection, and at times are a little too full-of-families to feel comfortable drinking excessively with your friends. I've also heard that their live music tends to involve less-than-stellar bands, but I cannot confirm or deny this (having never been there for live music). These are just nit-picks, mind you, on an otherwise fantastic establishment.

If you are in the Mt. Lebanon/Bridgeville area, I highly advise you to make a stop at Bados some night. Whether you are coming for food or beer, you will not be...

11.26.23 - good memories of having drinks with my date at the bar. The food was always lousy but they had good selection of beers. I wonder what new restaurant will take this location?

2019 It seems it is under new mgmt or something....the service is subpar. 11.06.18 So....I decided to give Bados another try and get a bite and drink after work and the polls. When I entered the four tables across from the bar were empty; there were no people waiting for a table before or behind me. Time was 6.44pm. When I said it was a table for one, I was asked if I wanted to sit by the front window next to the door. When I asked if I could sit in one of the empty tables across from the bar, I was told they are reserved for groups of four. When Ii asked to sit in dining, I was told it was full and the high top by the front door was the only option for a single person and it was " easier that way " for Bados. Bados seems to have lost any sense of customer service. It's not about what's easier. Customers can choose where to spend their dining dollars. I watched as a party of 2 walked in and were promptly seated at one of the 4 empty tables that I had been told were reserved for groups of 4. I got up to leave when a 2nd employee showed common sense and said I could sit where I want. At that point I just wanted to leave. 16 empty chairs. No one waiting or behind me and I was told I could not sit there because I was a single diner. Makes no sense. Jump to end of story...nice dinner and drinks at Mad Mex. They could give Bados some pointers. At Mad Mex they showed me to a table for 2. busy night. I asked for a booth and their reply...sure...

We will no longer support this resultant and will no longer recommend it. Terrible service and reduculous prices.

Service for the last two visits has been some of the worst service I’ve experienced. Unfortunatly we have had the same guy as our waiter.

We were not told about or offered the Monday pizza buffet for lunch. We came in at 12:15. There was no indication that there was a buffet that apparently didn’t start until 12:30.

We therefor ordered our own 4 cut pizzas form the menu. After receiving the bill we realized We were innocently over charged for the pizzas we ordered. $17 instead of $14.50.

Lunch pizza buffet comes with soup or salad for $7. A plain cheese four cut pizza is $7.75 and with zero toppings is alread more expensive than the entire offering for the buffet.

All together my brother and I each ordered a side salad and a four cut pizza and left with a $24 bill when we could have had the buffet for $7. Almost four times as much as we could have spent.

Meatball and pineapple are toppings that are charged double. I can go to any pizza shop or Italian restaurant and not have to deal with the up change. And I will from now on.

The waiter never refilled our drinks. We eat our entire meal with empty glasses.

The waiter could not explain why there was an upcarge for our side salads. He later found out it was because we ordered blue cheese dressing. 80 cents if you order blue cheese dressing.

Bados is not worth the hassle...
