There was hair in my food. When I reached out to the store to ask for a refund the GM insinuated that I ate the food and that he would only provide a refund if I bring the food back to the store. When I got to the store I found that the two cooks preparing food were not wearing hairnets. I was told it was not pizza huts policy to have cooks wearing nets only hats. The guy on pizzas had on a hat but had long hair that was flowing freely. The woman on chicken had no hat at all. I witnessed the cooks prepare food and take payments all in the same breath and no one not once was seen washing their hands after interacting with customers and taking payments. No one even wore gloves. As I spoke to the GM who was not very professional I noticed that his hands too were visibly soiled. I did not witness him preparing food but to be in the food service industry as a GM interacting with customers with soiled hands is very unsanitary and a health and safety risk. There was one gentleman there who was more helpful and spoke in a nice even tone who attempted to deescalate the situation while the GM at the end of the day was unable to refund me for my order. He stated that it was an issue with my card which made no sense. I left the store needing to reach back out today to inquire about my refund after I’ve already made two visits to the store. I will not be back. I feel like the health department needs to inspect this kitchen to ensure health and safety standards are...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I ordered two dozen boneless wings - the Himalayan teriyaki (12) and honey bbq (12) styles/flavors and an order of cheesy breadsticks. Our order was for carryout, so we can't attest to how well or not delivery served us, in speaking to the number of criticisms I saw written pertaining to said business facet. However, we are happy to say that management was very friendly and professional as we arrived to pick up our order, just as they were prior to that when on the phone during order placement. Girlfriend and I performed a quick check at the restaurant for order accuracy, which was correct, then headed home to eat - both of us were quite hungry. At home eating, we thoroughly enjoyed all three side meals representing the seperate aspects to the whole dinner ordered from Pizza Hut. The meals' packaging and food item presentation was in good form and pleasing to the eye, the temperature of the food was perfect, and the various flavors and tastes of the food order would make most semi-hungry people salivate. Dinner was fantastic - thank you, 2158 Carrick...
Read moreOrdered through Pizza Hut app. Stuffed crust and wings box. I thought, “that’s not a bad deal. I know it’s not the best pizza, but it is stuffed crust.” I received a message that DoorDash is now delivering it. Get the food and it’s all wrong and cold. I call the restaurant and speak to a manager and he says, “so sorry. We’re really busy.” I know your busy, it’s new years. That’s no excuse to send an order out that’s completely wrong and cold. Tired of the excuses from restaurants about how busy they are. I don’t care. I paid for something I didn’t receive. It’s not a hard job. You look at the order and do as the order says. Super easy and I’ve done it. Not for the Pizza Hut though. He tells me to call DD. I call DD and they say, “you ordered through Pizza Hut so they’re responsible.”
Trash! Tired of terrible service!! Never again, Pizza Hut on Brownsville Rd.
EDIT: the pizza wasn’t even cut. They were so damn busy, they couldn’t even...
