Pizza House — Restaurant in Pittsfield

Awful experience here - I know this is a long read, but worth it. Extremely long wait for 1 pizza, arrive to discover 5 employees working and only one other person patroning the restaraunt. In total nearly 40 minutes for 1 Pizza, despite there being no discernible business, and fraternizing amongst the employees. The establishment was EXTREMELY uninviting as well. Very loud music and decour/furnishings entirely dated and unclean. To make matters more unpleasant, there was next to no aknowledgement of myself and the other gentleman in the restaraunt awaiting orders. Finally, I received my pizza, which was handed to me in a flimsy box that was not properly sealed. Despite what this negative review may indicate, I’ve worked in the service industry myself and seldom complain. I live only a few minutes away and figured the flimsy box without so much as a piece of tape to help seal would suffice. Nope. 2 minutes into my drive and entire the pizza slid out of the box and throughout my car. This could not have been a quality pie to begin with as all of the elements were loose and actually appear to have been undercooked upon examining while cleaning my car, so this may have in fact been a saving grace. I called the restaraunt back to inform and somewhat to their credit, they stated they would replace the pizza but only if I returned with the box and what was left of the pie that had been laying on the interior floor of my car. No thanks; will eat the $17 loss and avoid these folks at all costs...

The Chef needed his Tyler Street Pizza House fix. The "go to" items - Greek Salad $5.75 by far the most overpriced item on the menu but very very good. They could add more iceberg lettuce and another grape tomato and maybe a cucumber slice and I wouldn't mention the price. Next up ...a 10" pizza with extra cheese, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The crust is made on location and is very crisp and light. The flavor of the sauce is awesome and the pizza is cut into squares which begs for a fork and knife and I'm happy to oblige. I use all the shakes - hot pepper flakes, quality grated parmesan, granulated garlic, salt, & pepper. Side of ranch to dip in for .50 cents and one is enough. The soft drink tasted funny and needs to be brixed by the soft drink vendor. Spaghetti and meatballs are an awesome choice as well. The place is the same as it was 35 plus years ago. Amazing!

The only part that sucked was a woman was loudly using vulgarities, talking about the most filthy bedroom talk right in front of her son to another "female" person she knew.

Parents Beware - that this type of atmosphere exists and is condoned as management heard what was being said and did nothing.

To Management- IF THERE'S NO LEANING BACK IN YOUR CHAIRS - THEN SEND THE FOUL MOUTHED...

Ordered 2 large greek salads with tuna. Walked to the restaurant, paid $30 for 2 salads, walked home & opened said greek salads to find zero tuna. Not cool! Idk how you can mess up such a simple order. Went back to restaurant & the employees had conflicting stories. One said they packaged up enough tuna for what’s normal for the salads & the other one said they put in extra. I complained it didn’t seem to be enough & they didn’t seem to care. The attention to detail & customer service is garbage. So disappointing!!! We...
