I have been a dedicated customer for years. Learned about this place from my mom. Weβve been ordering from them since I was in middle school. Iβm 26 now. I tried ordering from them tonight and was put on hold when I requested to use a card, then the call disconnected. I attempted to call back 8 times with a busy signal. Finally got in touch with them and was told they were trying to contact me and after being out on hold again was told that they would need to call me back because they need to βprove that the number I was calling from workedβ. I advised the person on the phone that I simply was trying to give my card information to complete my number. He ignored this and read the number back to me. I confirmed it and he is steady stating itβs the wrong number. I began getting annoyed and advised him Iβve had this number for a while but regardless I just want to give my card information. He then starts arguing with me and states that he needs to call me back cause the number I gave was incorrect. By this point Iβm beyond irritated because I simply wanted to order dinner after a long day, my 3 year old son was hungry and I didnβt feel like cooking and I am getting the run around for no reason. Mind you the number I have them had a 267 area code. I requested my order to be cancelled and disconnected the call. They IMMEDIATELY called me back (how convenient) and stated that it was my fault because I didnβt tell them to put a 1 in front of the number. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I said well that wasnβt anything on my end itβs on your end. He states no itβs my fault and is trying to provoke me. I inquired if thatβs what he called for and he yelled over me, stating I gave the wrong number. I once again disconnected the line and stated not to call me anymore. They called me back 3 more times trying to argue, I disconnected those calls as well. I have never in my life wrote a bad review but this was such horrible customer service I had to. I seen people say they had horrible customer service but I never encountered that. Absolutely disgusting. They donβt have to worry about my business any longer! I would give 0 stars if I could...

Placed a delivery ordered and asked for garlic knots with my salads and asked the guy who took my order over the phone to read my order back which had my garlic knots. Fast forward to my delivery, there is no garlic knots but there is some hard bread in the box with my salad. Called them and the short light skin Italian guy was VERY RUDE on the phone and hung up on me when he didnβt make sense, and this is the same guy I went back and forth with in person when my order was wrong before. Iβve supported this business for over 20 years and the customer service I received today was horrible and time again I find myself still trying to support businesses in Plainfield. I will no longer spend my money here as their customers arenβt respected...
Β Β Β Read moreI agree with the previous reviewer. They changed owners and food quality has dimishished. Such a shame this along with Chicken Holiday use to be the best 2 locations to eat in the area. The decor and the interior has not changed in over 30 years it seems like !
I was willing to give this "Italian" restaurant another shot today. I called and the person that answered the phone was very impatient ! In the end I chose to eat somewhere elsewhere. I was about to place an order for over $100. But that's what happens when you have people answering the phone that have no business picking up a phone.
Stay away from this location ! Unless you don't care about quality. I only give 2 stars for good location and a somewhat cheap slice of pizza....
