Grove II BBQ — Restaurant in Plainfield

My husband and I went in and ordered a Cheesesteak sandwich and we were in for a rude awakening! They literally put a loaf of bread in the oven with Kraft American cheese on it to warm up. The steak they cooked but it was a super thin piece the cook was putting a lot of sauce it in which we thought would’ve been delicious ...unfortunately, we didn’t taste any of it in the sandwich it had no taste. If you want the normal peppers and onions that cheesesteaks have it will be extra... lettuce tomato etc all extra $. So if I had order a regular cheesesteak without “toppings” I would’ve gotten a loaf of toasted hard bread with kraft cheese and a thin slice of “steak” with no taste.... THATS NOT A CHEESESTEAK!!! We were cheering for at least the fries to be good. Nope! They were hard and I mean HARD and cold. No dipping sauce could save this sad sandwich 😔

Not going there again...

I ordered about 3 times from this place... I kept trying to give it a chance because the grilled half chicken was good.... The service is garbage... Finally I ordered a grilled sirloin steak medium rare. I one of those $3 thin steaks burnt....
