No help at all. They don’t fact check there information & case workers don’t know what the other case worker does, so if there a problem they have to reschedule so you can talk to them. They also don’t have the ability to interact with the agencies that put in the wrong information so people who need immediate assistance can’t receive it and that are homeless!! This welfare symptom is seriously broken. Who ever set this so called system up , rules etc needs to be on this welfare level of help they would clearly understand what iIm saying. Everything should be the same across the board from county to county & not leaving it up to them to set their own rules. This country needs to take care of we the people of the USA pay these workers dam good money & benefits only to say we didn’t make the rules and have us running back and forth. Lastly how do you only get food stamps that only allows you to get cold food when you’re home, let these policy makers live on that for there families and see how they...

My son is already TWO months old, and he has not received any insurance & /or has been seen by any doctor because every time I call to check the status of his application, the phone number provided doesn’t even allow you to speak with someone. They’ve set it up for it to repeat itself no matter what option you’ve chosen. If something ends up happening to my son because the Union County “Human Services” doesn’t really serve the people in need, the city, the state, & the county itself. will be hearing from me and others that are going through the same. We are human beings! We rely on you for help and we’re played right in front of our faces. My son needs his insurance to be seen, ANYWHERE. It is so sad to see that a baby, a NEWBORN, has been waiting for something so delicate and important that seems he will never received. I hope this message is seen and received & hopefully gets some empathy from another understanding human...

No one knows what they are doing here. It seems as though staff was thrown out there cold turkey, having been taught nothing. They were supposed to transfer my case to another county a year ago which took 7 phone calls and ultimately having been made to go in to sign papers. Fast forward 1 year and I find out a day before I lose my insurance that they never even transferred me. I have a bad infection in my shoulder that can turn septic if no surgery is done and thanks to Union County Social Services, I no longer have insurance with having a days notice. Something needs to be done. No one is happy with them and they are incompetent and the boss who trains these people...
