So I ordered 2 jerk wing dinners with a few extra sides. Pick up was for 3:30pm I arrived on time. The young man at the counter asked for my name and car type. Asking for my car type made me kinda uncomfortable because if I’m there at a time I pre chose and was on time I feel my order should have been ready. Nonetheless I went to my car to await my food to be brought to me. I waited almost a hour for the food to came out at 4:45pm, mind you having two small children in the car becoming fussy. When I arrived to my cousins home as you can see below what we thought we were ordering versus what we actually received. I called the business 2x after my discovery with no answer. I then instagrammed messaged the business page and my cousin messaged on the website. Now they did return the messages but after messaging about the issue the refund that was given was $29 after paying $67.and the owner noted that the wings were new jerk wings in which the sauce was more sweet and tangy. This was not noted on the website and in person when the order was given to me . The food was also subpar, the veggies in the dressing were crunchy and dressing was dry. In the pictures you should note the picture on the site, the greens have a lot of meat in them, what I ordered had absolutely no meat in them. The Mac and cheese was good. The sweet potato’s was nothing spectacular. The pricing versus the customer service and the taste of the food, I’d say save your money. I arrived at the restaurant at 3:20PM and called the business to let them know I had arrived, as directed on my email confirmation, but no one answered. Five minutes later, I called again and a young lady answered the phone. I gave her my name and let her know I was there for my 3:30PM curbside pickup. She said okay and told me someone would bring my order out in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, I was still waiting and no one had brought out my order, so I decided to go in. When I entered, I rang the bell as no one was at the counter and a young lady appeared a few moments later. I let her know that I’d been waiting 20 minutes for curbside and no one had brought my order. She then told me, my order would be ready shortly. It wasn’t until 4:05PM that a woman who I assume was the owner came and told me that they had just dropped my fish and that it would be ANOTHER 6 minute wait😡. I honestly believe there was either a miscommunication about the curbside order or they had just forgotten I was there. When the owner brought out my order, there was no acknowledgement or apology for the delay. She just handed me my order. Spent almost a full TWO HOURS waiting on my food and literally walked out empty handed so I can’t even rate the food because I was never served. I waited there until 30 minutes after they closed and that is when the owner says the remaining fish isn’t good and do I want something else. WHAT??? I’ve been waiting damn near two hours why wasn’t this addressed before. I legit had to leave so I couldn’t even try and talk through options anymore because it took that much time out my day. She kept saying hey your food is coming, getting it ready now, and then last minute said she didn’t have my fish. They already told me an hour in that the yams I ordered were out so come on now, work with me. No way to describe it other than a terrible experience.
