Slice'd — Restaurant in Plains Township

Needed to grab a late night dinner while staying at the Mohegan. Decided to give them a try and we're so glad we did. We got a whole extra cheese pizza, with a side of garlic knots and 2 specialty slices of pesto & ricotta. My husband devoured the garlic knots before I could take a picture. The pizza was made to order but was still cooked fairly quickly. When we opened the box we were shocked at the size and presentation. It was a huge gorgeous pizza! We got up to the room and went to town. The crust was perfect and even passed the flop text despite being loaded with cheese. The pesto ricotta slice was out of this world! That being said it didn't come cheap, 1 pizza, 2 slices, 3 garlic knots and 2 sodas was $45 plus tip. But it's at the casino where everything is over priced so it is what it is. Online says open to 10pm. Sign in food court says open to 10pm. Went down to get dinner at 820pm and entire food area minus Johnny Rockets is closed. Checked with a casino employee who verified it was open to 10pm tonight. How to you just close up shop, security gates down almost 2 hours early? Clearly obvious Mohegan only cares about taking your money for gaming. Total disrespect...
