So, it's been awhile since I've been back in Plainview (years) but this past weekend my husband and I were passing through to pick up my nephew. Before heading back home, I really wanted to stop and grab a burger from here because it's been one of my favorite places to eat since I was little.
It was pouring rain when we got there so my husband and nephew decided to get down and order our food while I stayed in the car. I'm not sure who took their order but apparently, he was rude ass hell. My husband was given attitude right from the start. Luckily I didn't go in because I would've said "screw it" and went somewhere else. It wouldn't have been the first time attitude was given for no reason by the owner or employees.
Burger was decent but not as good as I remember, no salt on the fries but they were ok.
Thought about giving it another shot before leaving today on our 5 hour drive but I took my business elsewhere. Burger World definitely hit the spot and Darren has always been kind...

They made everything better, but I made a stink- I feel bad now, because of the misunderstanding. I felt as if the gentleman at the window was giving me an attitude because I asked for a substitute, and I was really worried somehow it upset him about the exchange we had and the way it came across to me was not great. I decided I was wanting my money back and whole order just refunded and put back because I’ve worked in food service, when a customer might be difficult or present to be difficult, some workers might tamper with food with no remorse. Everyone can trust that this place isn’t one of those. They’re good to their people and customers. I will return here on my next visit...
Read moreI gave a bad review a few weeks ago about my experience at this place. I am from Lubbock and when I am in Plainview I try to go there for a good burger. My review wasn't about their food. The food is always good. But, it was for the service I received. Well, let's just say the service i didn't received. But, Bill's Burger did reply on my review and apologized and took full blame for it. I appreciate that they know what they did wrong. Therefore I am changed my review. In my behalf, I left angry because I was hungry and that's why I did not even try to get a refund. I was so upset that I didn't get my food. But, over all, this place is the best.
