I went to this location with my boyfriend and his grandparents. We sat down, placed our drink and appetizer order, and got settled in. While waiting for our main courses we started noticing some things. The woman I can only assume was the manager or shift leader on duty, a blonde woman who I heard get called "Christina" a few times, was not wearing a mask as she ran all around the restaraunt yelling and barking at the waitstaff and kitchen staff. She jumped down their throats at every minor inconvenience. There was one instance where one of the servers delivered an incorrect plate so when another server came and noticed the mistake she spoke up. To which Christina yelled "YOU took the wrong plates to the wrong table because I didn't make them wrong!" They went back and forth for a little bit after that. As we continued waiting we started to notice that not a single person cooking in the kitchen was wearing a mask. Being with an elderly couple my boyfriend and I asked if they were comfortable eating food knowing that. They were not. We went to our waitress and asked if we could pay for our drinks and appetizer and just go, explaining to her that we didn't want to eat there if no one in the kitchen was going to take the virus seriously. She understood and went to her manager, Christina, who reacted by screaming "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" to the poor girl. She wouldn't even come and talk to us about it. We got our drinks and fried pickles for free and drove down the street to McDonald's instead where everyone was equipped with gloves and masks.
I cannot immagine the fresh hell it must be to work under that woman. Honestly she should be fired and go work some job that doesn't allow her to treat people like that. And we were VERY disappointed to see that not a single person in that kitchen was wearing a mask during a sudden rise in...
Read moreWe went in today and sat down around the noon rush hours end first time I had been in the restaurant waitress was prompt, the drinks came fast, the rolls were warm now to the meal I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy, okra, & Mac and cheese. My aunt ordered the chicken sandwich with squash. This being said 1 other person ordered but said their food was not bad. My complaint is that the food has either been plated and left while the sandwich was being made or the warmers under the okra squash and Mac and cheese were left on low heat at best. The food was barely warm when it got to the table. The chicken fried steak was kinda like warm as well but since we were in a time crunch I didn’t say anything and just ate was thankful for the stretch of my legs. Now I got ready to leave went to the bathroom and it had a smell such as being short staffed and the inability to have a person to clean it/ noon rush as the back room appeared to have had a larger party that just left. I would definitely recommend the manager check the temperatures a little more regularly of sitting food( I have a food handlers license and have had many state health inspections), and at least when not busy, busy check the bathroom as soon as things slow down. I believe it’s a good place to eat and think we just came...
Read moreThe experience was not what we expected. Two of our party ordered the turkey and dressing. They are told it was available and ready only to then be told it was not available because it was sold out. Granted this was before lunch and they had just opened. When the salads came out cheese was requested and finally arrived after the salad was eaten...... we got tired of waiting Another two in the party ordered the meat loaf and one ordered only sides. The meat loaf was cold and dry. The sides were cold. The manager said she would bring fresh. Question there was why would you bring it fresh and hot the second time instead of the first? The sides were taken back and made fresh only to be brought out cold again. All the sides were cold. The manager did bring another serving of the meat loaf which was hot but wasnt requested. This was bad because a friend at another table wanted meat loaf only to be told they were out.... again before the lunch rush. How can a restaurant like Cotton Patch not manage their menu days of supply and be out of so much food before a crowd even arrives? So disappointed and hope something is addressed with this service. Such a shame, this place used to serve wonderful, hot and fresh food....
