Quality Inn — Hotel in Plainview

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you actually want to get what you Pay for. Because the rooms weren’t worth the money I paid first of all, I paid 132 for one night and the rooms weren’t clean properly they had someone else’s socks still behind the bathroom door and no wash cloths in the room. They had bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower but were empty. I asked for more and they said they couldn’t because housekeeping had the key and they don’t come in till my husband and I were going to leave so that was useless. But , that’s not the big deal my husband and I only stayed one night in half ass cleaned room that I had to put a 200 dollar deposit on that I never got back mind you and to top it off I got charged a week later again for the exact same price of 132 dollars. So I got double charged and that left me over drafted at my bank so it accrued more charges for that every day I stayed over drafted which I’m ona fixed income so I only get paid once a month so you can imagine the charges I have to pay now because of them. So when I seen the over draft I called to the hotel and the front desk lady was rude and said, “ I don’t know what to tell you I’m not the manager and the way it looks from my side you weren’t charged two times so I can’t give any money back”, I even sent a screen shot to them of my bank statement to the company email. I asked for the manager and she said she would have her call me which she didn’t. I never received a call back so I waited a while hoping it would get refunded along with my deposit if 200 dollars and nothing ever came back so I’m still getting more charges and I am going to end up losing my whole other check because of it. Finally I call again and ask for the manager and she tells me that she was sorry it was a mistake on their end that they will refund 132 but not my deposit so I don’t get why the room was the same as when we got there. But anyway I still have not got any money back she said it would be reversed right away it would only take a day or so and here we are 5 days later and nothing I called again to make sure she didn’t forget to do it but she is never there supposedly. So if you want to spend more money than what the room is worth then that’s your go to but if not and you want your deposit back and not be over charged then stay somewhere...

This was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a hotel. I travel a lot for work and stay at different hotel brands as booked by my company. This Quality Inn is on the lowest rung. I was given a two room suite. Thanks for that mediocre attempt at customer service. The living area smelled completely of cigarettes. When I reported this, I was told that it should not smell that way because it was a non smoking room. This was maddening because it was if the staff member was calling me a liar and stating the obvious. Yes, it is a non smoking room. However, someone smoked in here anyway and the room was not properly cleaned and maintained since that occurred. I was given the option of air freshener or another room. I gave him the third option of replacing the air filter on the heater because moving me to another room does not fix that room smelling like smoke. It was 3ndays before the filter was changed. I sprayed essential oils everywhere so I hope whomever stayed in the room after me wasn't allergic. I also only had one hot shower during my stay. The hot water would go in and out or never come on. The lows were in the 20s and 30s when I had to leave for work. I was not the only person that had this experience. Several of my coworkers reported the same issue and it was not fixed. All they would do was go and "check" the water heater which fixed nothing. This hotel is very outdated and needs an overhaul or...

As I was checking in two gentlemen that came back and told the front dest that someone is already in the room they were just given. Check in took forever and all rooms were showing occupied and she said their system was jacked up. After she verified that my room was unoccupied, it was extremely hot, the A/C was in the off position and it was around 100 degrees outside and the room smelt like a combination of wet towels and cigarette smoke. A/C cover was half off, there was a ton of dust/red dirt on the dresser, the bathroom light was not working, the drain stopper was broke off and just sitting in the sink, bathroom baseboards were covered in dust, and there was a giant dead battle under the edge of the bed closest to the door. Finally, the worst part was there was a group of 4-5 people that were drinking and grilling just outside my room and being extremely loud most of the night. They began screaming and heavy drinking around 11pm. I usually do not complain and thought that they would eventually go to bed but a little after 1am I called the front desk and told them about the noise and they said they would send someone over. Then for about the next 20 minutes, the noise stopped but then started again until around 2:45am, when they finally went to bed. This hotel is dated, in need of repair/remodeling, and I would not recommend it. The only positive I can say about this hotel is the front desk people...
