The crown jewel of Plainview, Texas. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical walking into "The Dragon." I'm a man of wide girth, known for slaying buffets, and having a large collection of stretchy pants in every fabric and color that fits a man with a 48 inch waist. I'm known in various regions of Texas as "the buffet slayer" First of all, the handicapped parking accommodates my 1997 GMC Jimmy blazer with the wheelchair ramp extension exceptionally well. If I thought that was t great enough, I walk indoors. My god. First I was struck by the neon lighting fixtures, giving a real hipster vibe. Then bam. All led spotlights on the buffet. They got it all. Different flavors of sauce. I mix them together and it became an off-brown syrupy mixture of sesame tang. The shrimp were at worst 4 days old with a rubbery microwave texture. But I wasn't here for seafood. I want the carbs. I stacked 7 plates of Chinese goodness on my table and began to show them no mercy. I'm not completely sure if the communist invented buffets as it seems contradictory to their principles and morality; but thank GOD they bent the rules at this gem in the Texas panhandle. Afterwards I emptied my bowels into the urinal as the toilet was clogged and there was no soap or disinfectant. But my food went through me so fast it was easy to flush in the urinal. Which is how I like my stools. Will be back, however I wish they had a...

It's a buffet people. Now the sad part. Im one of those who believes the cleanliness of a restaurant 's rest room can be used to measure the cleanliness of the kitchen preparation area. And by THAT standard CD is failing terribly. Even the entry way windows are neglected. But hey the food is still great ! Today was first time in 6 months that I visited CD. Food was on spot delicious. AND the checkout gentleman put his cellphone down and spoke to us. Thank you sir. We appreciated that. We will be...
Read moreFirst time here and last time I won't return, the so called waitress who is actually just a busser never even offered me a drink refill, all she did was take 2 empty plates from the table. All she did was lean on the counter at the waitress station or sit in the end booth the whole time. But all in all the food was good and good price, $14.55 total for buffet and one drink but no tip for the lazy waitress. I wish I would have gotten a different waitress/busser. The other girls kept busy and refilled the guest drinks. They would have...
