Mr D's Just 4 Fun — Restaurant in Plainview

This is a BIG NO GO!! I wougive no stars but that is not an option. The previous reviews were grossly inaccurate. We arrived at 11:17 the only customers and received our order at 11:55. 1 cheese burger and 2 patty melts. The cheese on the patty melt was nonexistent. There was just some brown burnt remnants on the edge of the burger. The patty was dry and had no flavor. The sautéed onions were not cooked all the way, and to add to the horrible burger was plain dry texas toast (not a patry melt at all) Just a huge failer.. We sat and watched as the fries and onion rings were picked up from the fryer and hung in the basket for 20 minutes. As other customer began to areive..We watched at the waitress visited with a customer and left another customer without his order being taken (10 mins.) Then one customer changed his order to a Togo order because it took to long. We were told they still had the all you can eat breakfast buffet which turned out to be 2 biscuits and a small amount of dry gravey... there is a game room in.the back so I guess at least on of the reviews was accurate this is a front...

We were at a antique store shopping and talking about going to somewhere to eat and a customer walked in, over heard us and recommended this place. WOW... What a hidden gem. A little hole in the wall place, so don't let that fool you. We got burgers, and very well surprised. Catfish delicious. Onion rings, patty melt, curled fries, all delicious. The burger were really surprising, asked for well done, many don't eat it like that, we do and they were well done, even though the patties were thick. So, when in Plainview give it a try. We live in Shallowater but will definitely return there when we go back to...

So about half my salesforce tells me this place has pretty good, so I finally made it iver before we head out on the rest of our trip. Can't wait to go back home to Mesquite, Tx. ... Anyway.

I finally make there, realy nice lady working, just can't remember her name? And I'm on a no starch diet, so I ordered just a cheese burger.

This thing was great! Charbroiled real meat, not some garbage patty like a fast food place has. I can definitely say if you are traveling through town. This is a must stop for a great bite!
