I got a large sundae and wanted to plug in my tablet to charge it while I ate my sundae. While the radio blared in the background and light bulbs shone in broad daylight (both non-essential uses of electricity) the male owner said I needed to unplug my tablet because "it might make his electricity go out and he'd lose all his ice cream"; that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! You don't run an ice cream shop on unreliable electricity. The female owner cited that her electricity bill was over $1,000. She should expect this when running an ice cream shop in summertime. Apparently, saving the few fractions of a penny a customer might incur charging a mobile device was more important to her than the goodwill of letting a customer charge his device. Just a few moments after I had finished my ice cream the male owner came over, as I was composing a text message, and told me I had to leave, that I was loitering. There weren't any other customers so it wasn't like someone needed the table. Both owners are very grouchy and will not make you feel welcome and valued. The chill you feel when you enter isn't just from the ice cream freezers -- it's from their icy personalities too. I'm not sure why they're in a business that serves the general public. We entered and were given a look of "What are you doing here" It was my sons birthday, there was 5 of us we had just got done having dinner near by. There were 2 older ladies working who were bothered they even had to be there. Complaining that it was late for her and she was waiting for her son to get there so she can leave. The milkshakes were milk not thick at all! They made us feel like an inconvenience!!! Maybe not be open year round if it makes you that miserable!? Made comments that made us uncomfortable the entire time. Forgot my sons sprinkles then we mentioned it she rolled her eyes and put a very sad amount on then said "you wanted rainbow right? Because that's what you got" Just rude and unprofessional! My husband ordered a vanilla milkshake and she gave such a dirty look and said "really out of all the flavors you choose vanilla? " Like yes that's what he said that's what he wants! Maybe we will try again when summer comes but not too sure on that. And it's too bad because with all the reviews we were excited...

This used to be the go to place until recently. Ordered 3 scooper sundaes for my family and proceeded to receive a small dish barely full. Been going here since I was a kid so I know what a large is and supposed to be. Asked the kid about it and was told his boss said to say they discontinued those and to serve these as larges now. That just rubbed me the wrong way. Yea this years been tuff for all, but that's no reason to charge the same but give less than half of a product. Not much difference then price gouging in these time.. Remember you want our business more than ever now?? You do want us to come back right??
