I, like many others, drove FAR (more than an hour) to try the Dubai pistachio chocolate bar “locally” rather than order online. As an initial impression walking in, I LOVED the store. Especially the tea sets. It wasn’t busy or heavily scented & as a first-time customer, I was treated as I’ve always been treated my entire life when going into a small businesses, so I didn’t think anything of it except that it was unremarkable. Just another purchasing experience.

However, after coming here to leave a review of my own experience & reading a great many 5-⭐️ reviews, I have to agree with the 1-⭐️’s in that I didn’t receive ANY of the treatment others are clamoring about.

☝🏾 of all, I was barely greeted when I came in. It was more like a “we are acknowledging you” rather than a welcoming excitement that I was there kind of greeting. I will say there was a smile attached to the greeting, but I was quickly left alone afterwards & a bit later on was finally asked if I knew what I wanted.

In retrospect, maybe this was more of a “hurry up and buy” (if you catch the reference) kind of question, so maybe that wasn’t the best question to ask. Maybe it should have been, “Can I help you with anything?” Or even “Is there something you’d like to try” since apparently they gave out samples to others (as stated in other reviews).

Which will probably be my second observation/experience. No one offered me samples of ANYTHING. And I actually wanted to sample the smoked and lemon pistachios and stood in front of the nut counter for quite some time looking at all the variety they had (it wasn’t just pistachios).

As a vegetarian, I would have likely cleaned house for some good nuts as nuts & seeds are a huge snack food for me. But no one ever approached me while I stood in front of them. Unless I’m told specifically or there is signage, I’m not one to ask any business to let me try something (as I’m sure many aren’t) simply because it’s essentially asking for free product, so if it was something they’d offered others, why wasn’t it offered to me? 🤔

Third, I didn’t even KNOW they had ice cream!! I definitely would have tried that! They just watched me browse and then when I was ready or had a question, I was helped. There was nothing in the store, that I saw, that even indicated they had ice cream, which tells me again, this is something they only offer to certain people. Then again, maybe they were out as I’ve read others complain about them being out of other products.

As I said previously, I wasn’t treated any differently than I have been my entire life. The gag is, unfortunately, the way I’ve been treated my entire life is right in line with being treated cordially because the business wants my money rather than hospitably, as others have experienced, which is disappointing.

Another disappointment is that they were definitely a bit deceitful when it came to the purchase of the Dubai chocolate. They had stacks of prepackaged bars in the chill case. One large red box and a smaller green box. When asked about the prices, I was told it was $6.99 for the smaller green box. When I selected it for purchase the clerk went to the back and gave me a single piece of chocolate in a plastic container…..for $6.99. 🤨 They didn’t even attempt to provide the small box AT ALL. I didn’t make a fuss, just made a mental note, paid & left.

I’m not going to go so far as to say I will never go back because I want to see if my experience was isolated to who was working that day or if the other one star reviews were spot on.

Unfortunately, the simple fact that I wasn’t offered samples (as some others were) and that I wasn’t told about other products, (like the ice cream) I am less than hopeful that my experience will be different.

I definitely will not be prompting the information from them, I will just visit at a different time on a different day in the distant future and act as if I’m a new customer & come back here to share my findings or update my review, if merited.

The crazy part is, I haven’t even tried any of the chocolates I...

I have to be honest, I came here for the viral Dubai pistachio knafeh chocolate. Now I came here the first day and it was about a 45 minute wait to wait for the new batches to purchase however they did allow to place orders for next day pick up. I decided to come in another day to give it a try. I called in early and was instructed to come near closing as they can sell one to two chocolates after fulfilling their orders for the day. I got lucky on the second visit and finally got to purchase the viral chocolates. Now they were absolutely delightful! Even my husband who has a slight allergy to pistachios could not stop resisting these chocolates, they had the most addictive texture and crunch and the perfect amount of sweetness. The restaurant is full of other delights and sweets and treats that are worth trying. But the most beautiful part of this bakery are the owners themselves. During both of my visits, the owners and family members were so kind to quickly assist every customer and tried everything in their power to fulfill orders and make their customers happy. I am so happy for them and hope that they continue to thrive in their business and share their culture with...

I recently visited Pistachio , and I have to say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! This charming little shop has an incredible selection of sweets, that cater to all tastes. I went for the viral middle eastern pistachio chocolate that has recently gone viral on TikTok. BTW, it was delicious! I came the first time and was helped by a sweet young lady, second time I came by with my cousin and sister and was greeted and helped by a young men who was very helpful.

I noticed some recent negative review. It's important to remember that they are a small, local business. They couldn't have anticipated the massive demand. Despite this, their staff handled the situation with grace and professionalism. They were all so kind!

What really stood out to me was their commitment to quality and customer service. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help me find new favorites. The atmosphere in the shop is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to try new things.

I'll definitely be back soon and encourage everyone to support this wonderful local gem!

Keep in mind a walk-in bar (small size) is $6.99 a big bar is $18.99 but you have to...

Wow! What a gem of a place. This place is family owned and all chocolates are made in house. We got some of the smaller candies and a Dubai chocolate bar. Absolutely delicious, all of it. They have tons of desserts as well and offer different sizes-small to large. The man we worked with (forgot his name unfortunately) was so kind and told us a lot of information about the history behind the flavors. They have tons of pieces you have buy for your home, and even gift baskets. We will absolutely come back here when we are in the area again.
