What a find!!!
Actually a recommendation to us and we are ever in debt of the recommender for this place.
Rose serves authentic Iranian cuisine and I am sure it is better than any served in Cali (read South Bay. Silicon Valley)!!!! Hands down!!!
The Kashke Bademjan , the Tabouli salad, the Hummus, the Falafels, the Baba Ganoush and the soft and succulent and so flavorful chicken and mined beef kebabs all made with the freshest of freshest veggies, meats and basic ingredients and perfectly spiced/ served with Sumac, generously splashed with Olive Oil and then served with the most appetizing Basmati rice spiked with saffron and the delightfully warm and oh so soft Pita bread.
We were floored by each and every dish they served (even the simple but so fresh lettuce and cucumber salad served with a tangy light dressing) and guess what the Dugh Drink (buttermilk with some very tasty digestive powders) elevated the experience to the next level!
And Pooneh , who seated and waited on us, was so friendly and kept serving the dishes at a pace that never kept us waiting nor allowed the dish to go cold while we savored the previous served dish.
In the end we had lots of leftovers , only because we had over-ordered, but we more than looked toward to consuming them later!
Cannot miss out on the deco! The entire place was decorated with miniatures of everyday life items from the home country and invoked an unmistakable aura and nostalgia for folks from that part of the world! Video added
We are already planning our next visit...
Read moreI recently dined at Rose Mediterranean Cuisine and had a fantastic experience that I can't wait to share! From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the delicious food to come.
One of the standout dishes for me was the lentil soup. It was wonderfully flavorful, boasting a rich, hearty texture that was both comforting and satisfying. The blend of spices added a lovely depth to the soup, making it a perfect start to the meal. I could easily see myself returning just for a bowl of that delicious soup!
The salad was equally impressive. Fresh, crisp ingredients were beautifully combined with a zesty dressing that elevated the whole dish. The balance of flavors was spot-on, and it felt like a light yet fulfilling addition to the meal. It's clear that quality and freshness are priorities at Rose Mediterranean Cuisine.
What truly made my visit memorable, though, was the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure I had a great dining experience. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they were always happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.
Overall, I highly recommend Rose Mediterranean Cuisine for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Mediterranean flavors in a welcoming environment. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean food or trying it for the first time, you wonât be disappointed. I canât wait to go back and explore more...
Read moreI would give ZERO stars if I could. They should NOT be running a restaurant. Awful experience. I met with my boyfriend here last night, because it seemed like a nice place to sit and talk. We only ordered tea and one appetizer to share. That was ALL. We were not ordering dinner. We asked for the Maza appetizer, which is a variety. They gave me a very hard time when I asked to substitute the lamb dolmas for vegetarian. I also asked for a small side of garlic sauce for dipping, which they were unhappy to give unless I paid $6 extra. I went to a different restaurant the day before, and it was no issue! We received tea. Then after 40 minutes we almost left! We still didnât receive our appetizer. As we were about to leave, another couple stood up and walked out, they made a scene and complained that theyâve been waiting an hour for food. As we were about to leave behind them, our plate came. We try tabouli salad at every Mediterranean restaurant, and it was part of our Maza appetizer. I have NEVER had tabouli this terrible. We both spit it out. It was ROTTEN. We said they should not serve rotten food, and the server admitted it was âdifferentâ last night! The appetizer was $14 and they gave me $1 off because the tabouli was rotten. Only $1. And they did not care to replace it with something else. They are extremely overpriced for terrible quality. Never again. Please donât give...
