Food Allergies Stay Away:

We have been eating at Sea Breeze for years. I have always felt it was pricey, but overall good food. Today my opinion changed... I will not return.

After telling our wonderful waitress about a dairy allergy (not dairy intolerance) she brought our food. We questioned her about the mayo based sauce because some store bought mayo sometimes has a small amount of dairy. She said "I asked too and he said 'I would not put it on there if it had dairy' ". We have been told this elsewhere just to be very sick later that day. So I asked, "do you make your mayo here? If not have you checked the label? If not, is possible that it contains dairy". The waitress was very cool about it and immediately said "I will check"

She approached the chef (its an open kitchen) who was perched on the counter with arms crossed and staring off in the distance (he may have been watching TV?). She asked him about the mayo. He did not look at her, he did not move, he did nothing other than motion with his head to the back room. When she waked away he mouthed an obscenity. I approached the chef who looked at me with surprise and disgust.

#1: The chefs butt was on the counter #2: The chef did not treat his server with common courtesy #3: The chef was not concerned enough about a food allergy to engage in a simple conversation.. and he wasn't even busy. #4: The chef had an attitude with asked an honest question

Because of the above, I paid my bill, tipped the waitress who did her job with style and left without eating a bite. Unfortunately, I created a scene after the chef acted as if he was above reproach. For this, I have regret... however, it does not change the facts.

I will not return. In addition to high prices, they have an arrogant chef who sits on counter, treats servers poorly and chooses not to satisfy a legitimate question about a food allergy. He needs to improve his attitude and/or work for a restaurant that does not have an open kitchen. Until then, I will not spend...

Ok first off, the food was great. Our waiter Blake H however, was sub par. He started off the night informing us of the specials and appetizers INCLUDING prices for everything. We ordered two Old Fashions, both appetizers Blake recommended, and six oysters to start. For meals, I ordered the Baked Crabmeat Stuffed Haddock, which Blake informed me they were out of and could SUBSTITUTE it for another fish. He named off the fish and I just went with the first one. The bill arrives and my meal is $20 more than on the menu, with a different name. The original meal comes with two specialty sides, and I only ordered one, which adds to the ridiculousness of it. When I brought it up, Blake rudely said, "well of course look at the menu it's more expensive!" And no, the Walleye is not on the menu as a fresh market fish so how would I know?! But also, how on earth do you consider it a SUBSTITUTE then, and you were so open about pricing before, why didn't you mention it would be way more than double the price?? But then, he apologized and said it was his fault and still refused to change the price.

He was arguing for a good while about it, which my fiance and I both thought was so absolutely unprofessional, and the guests behind us were also appalled. He went to talk to a manager about it and over five minutes later a man comes up to us and says he'll take $10.50 off the meal. I argue again saying NO I didn't even want this, had I known it would have been double I would have gone with the Lobster Roll.

The food was great, but the behaviour of the staff was appalling. I'm a very easy going person, and would never have even noticed the charge if my fiance hadn't pointed it out. Blake H lost out on a $40 tip, and I will not be letting anyone I...

I was looking for a new food experience so I searched for restaurants in my area. Sea Breeze had some really good reviews and the photos of the food looked delicious. So I thought I would give them a shot.

I went during the lunch hour, around 12pm. It had a decent amount of people there. I was greeted and informed to sit where I'd like. I was immediately given a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. After that it took the waitress about 10 minutes to come back to me and take my order. I ordered the Taste of New England which came with a cup of chowder, a half lobster roll, fried clams, beer battered fish, slaw, and fries. The clam chowder was super hot (tempt wise) so it took me some time to eat but overall a very good chowder. When I received the main course I immediately went for the lobster roll, as many reviews spoke highly of it. I wasn't impressed at all. There seemed to be a lot of mayo and lacked seasoning. I went on to the beer battered fish which was really greasy but tasty. The coleslaw was nothing to rave over either. I went on to the clams and they were rather chewing. I later remembered a lot of reviews talked about hush puppies which I did not get with my order. I also ordered the Key Lime pie. Omg, it tasted like store bought pie. Not fresh or even close to it. For the price I would have gone to the grocer and got a whole pie.

I was expecting to be wow'd after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures. Sadly, I was not. Overall I am not sure I would be eating there again as I just wasn't overly impressed with the food. The place was clean and the...

Where to start? First off, i never announce that i am a local guide with 1.5 million views of my photos However, i was seated at the bar and advised my server that I was from Cape Cod before I ordered my "chowdah". While i had planned to get "The best lobster roll in DFW", the Crab Stuffed Haddock caught my eye on the menu. I ordered both. Mind you there were 2 other couples at the bar and I definitely became the fifth wheel. Then it began. The chowder was served without any oyster crackers, my first siren went off. The chowder was plain and as thin as a runway model. Too much green 'stuff' and no hint of bacon. This clam soup rated a 6 at best. I ordered sides of "whipped potatoes and carrots" and "spaghetti squash". When my entree arrived i couldn't identify any item on my plate. The stuffing was atop a thin piece of white fish best described as scrod. Not a lick of crab was found in the stuffing. The potatoes and carrots were whipped together, with the carrots in tiny cubes. They were room temperature - one bite and done. I moved on to the unidentifiable green stuff and discovered that it was emaciated brussel sprouts. I hate brussel sprouts. There's a before and after pic of my plate. One bite each of the sidese. I ate all the scrod, still searching for a glint of crabmeat. It never showed up. Upon clearing server stated"Isee you weren't pleased. Sorry about that'. He handed me a full bill. Such a disappointment after I was so looking forward to great seafood. Not in this joint.

Here’s a polished review you could use for a great little fish market restaurant: ⸻ Review: If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful seafood in a laid-back setting, this little fish market restaurant is a hidden gem worth discovering. From the moment you walk in, you can tell freshness is their priority them have fresh fish delivered daily - the display of the day’s catch sets the tone, and you can practically taste the ocean in every bite. The menu is simple but spot-on. The clam chowder is rich and comforting without being heavy, and the oysters on the half shell are some of the best I’ve had in The city. What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere. It’s casual, unpretentious, and you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a local favorite. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to offer recommendations based on what’s freshest that day. Whether you’re grabbing something quick at the counter or sitting down for a leisurely meal, this spot hits all the right notes—great food, great service, and a genuine love for seafood that shines through in every dish. A true treasure for seafood lovers—I’ll definitely be back.

I decided to try Sea Breeze Fish Market and Grill because it was recommended by Resy. I made the reservation through Resy (the only place you can make a reservation for this restaurant), but I was surprised that when I got to the restaurant, they couldn't find my reservation. I was lucky that the restaurant was not busy, so we got seated right away. This establishment is a sea food market and restaurant, I don't think I've been in one of those before. The food was very fresh and tasted as such. It wasn't over top. It tasted simple and not over seasoned. The desserts were good and tasty, I have a sweet tooth! We had the eggnog flavored creme brulee and a pie with ice cream. I also enjoyed the service. The waitress we had, even those that walked by, were so nice, and if we needed anything, they were quick to assist and also inform our server. I also liked the fact that the seafood was flown in fresh every day, and you could purchase some on your way out. I did enjoy looking at the live lobsters, and you can pick one to be cooked for you at Market Price.
