Zalat Pizza — Restaurant in Plano

We ordered a pizza and Caesar Salad. The salad was not included in the order when we received it. We called and spoke to a young girl who answered the phone. We honestly would have accepted them to just deliver a salad to us, apologize and tell us that they would have it right out. No, she tells me that we can drive up here and get it. If I could have driven up there I wouldn’t have asked for delivery. Then she said I would have to go online to request my money back. She didn’t want to deal with this in anyway. For a so-so pizza, you would think that customer service Ed would be better. Stay away from here. Better pizza out there, especially places that can deal with issues when they come up.

I ordered 2 pizzas from them. I've had them before. I ordered takeout, 15-20 minute wait. I got the 14" Pepperoni Masterclass and a 12" NY Pepperoni that I added sausage and tomatoes to. They were waiting for me when I arrived. I was a couple minutes after the estimated time. I had to drive them home and then walk my dog so they weren't hot, just warm. They were cooked well. There was also a ramiken of what tasted like ranch dressing, it was good, but I didn't use it with my pizzas. I think I like the masterclass better, it has more flavor than the other one. I feel it's decently priced for fresh pizza. Not cheap but not the most costly either. They advertise a lot of other flavors of pizza. I'm ordinary and simple. Maybe I'll try the others another evening. Another big advantage for me is they are open late. Most pizza places seem to close at 9pm other than the chain joints. I'll...

This location is doing something wrong. My guess is they aren’t fully rinsing after washing.

First time I tried this pizza and cheese bread, I thought it was pretty good, soft interesting ingredients, but tasted something weird like soap. So initially I figured I might have a weird taste bud for cilantro that makes it taste like soap. Second and third time at this location, ordered different pizzas and the bread which has no cilantro, still tasted like soap.

Then the next time, I decided to order from another location, the one on Legacy. The order from Legacy did not taste anything like soap. It tasted like cheese, bread, marinara. A few weeks later and I ordered again from the Legacy location which confirmed to me that the location on Parker is definitely doing something wrong.
