Hole in One Donuts — Restaurant in Plant City

Normally I give them 5 stars, rave about them and send everyone to them; but, so disappointing this visit. We get HOI traditionally for New Year morning. I picked them up afternoon before since they were going to be closed, but I've kept them overnight before and they were still great. We had 3 issues

Ordered 2 Boston cream, but they were just cream filled, no chocolate on top.

. The curlers we ordered were stail. Usually they are fluffy and doughy and glazed sweet. They were awful.

This was the main problem, we ordered a dozen strawberry frosted and dozen chocolate frosted. They put them in the box right after frosting and did not let them set. When I opened the boxes that night the strawberry had all smooshed together and the frosting was off half of them and on others. The chocolate was worse...90% of the chocolate had just slid off the donuts and was on the bottom of the box.

I will be back again and hopefully they will be back to great, but this visit will be hard to forget, ruined New Year's breakfast. I gave them 2 stars because the cronuts and sour cream were as...

This was a great, local place to visit! The glazed donut was spot on in flavor and delightfully light and fresh. I don't usually eat donuts but this one was reminiscent of what Dunkin Donuts produced in the early 80's. Best part, I couldn't detect any tried oil flavor like I've experienced in most donut shops. The breakfast sandwich ( egg, bacon, cheese on an English muffin) was delicious. The muffin was toasted perfectly, the bacon was crispy and the sandwich was fresh!! The staff was friendly and efficient, and price points were affordable, and reasonable especially since the quality was well above what I'd anticipated. I will definitely be back to...

These donuts used to be the best around. Now, they are the dry and tasteless. Not sure what they expected. Their donuts pretty much sit out doors in an open display case. Oh they look great and they are easy to reach for staff, but they are dried out now. I haven't seen the issue at other Hole in One Donut locations, but this location's cheap and lazy new solution to COVID and cost saving reduced quality and service has made their donuts pretty much stale and tasteless.
