I work nearby and (now use to) sometimes grab lunch here. I walked in and up to the bar to order and the cashier/waitress did not acknowledge me at all, No Hello? No welcome to Jeannies? nothing. She continued holding a meaningless conversation with customers who noticed me waiting to order before her in fact. finally, she comes over(and says nothing I may ad) and I tell her what I wanted. At first, she got the order wrong and claims she could not hear me that I needed to speak up. OK fair enough, but then. after she corrects my order goes back to the cook and talks loud enough to were I can hear her start dropping F bombs left and right about how people from my job always order the same F* thing and how she can be a * If she wants and something about how she told me to speak the ** up ect ect....?? Excuse me? After I heard that, she came back and I told her she may cancel the order, and she reply's "Good!" Great way to treat a customer! I almost lost my cool and cursed her out for a sec. but I thought I'd just leave a review on the type of people this place hires instead, and advise others to take their business elsewhere. No wonder the place is almost always empty! Won't be in business long with employees like her. It's more of a last resort place because the cook never cooks the food right anyway you say you want well done and when you get it it's barely done. Said her name was Danielle BTW(short blond younger woman). Management should have a talk with this Danielle character before another situation like this happens i'll be sure to discuss it with my co-workers. This was 4pm Thursday...
Read moreTotal hidden gem in Plantation and it shouldn’t be! Wife and I had lunch at East Acre Pub And Grub and we couldn’t have been more satisfied! Plus Tracy, the owner, was genuine, attentive, and clearly cares about her establishment and customers. We asked if bringing our children would be ok; she said certainly! She made us aware that Wednesdays are Poker Night and therefore quite crowded and not ideal for kids. She chatted with us, each time she came to check on us🥰
Now for the food. I had the Philly cheesesteak added mushrooms and fries. 🛑! If you’re looking for authentic Philly, this is NOT your place. If your looking for a DELICIOUS sandwich, full of FLAVOR, and a good chew to the bread…. Then do NOT HESITATE! And who could hate a perfectly fried and salted krinkle fry?
Wife had one of the days specials (there were 3) Boneless chicken wings at $.69 (minimum order of 10). She decided on the AE sauce (after asking) as it was a mixture of the options we were already talking about; medium, garlic, teriyaki! YUMMO! She also ordered the sweet potato fries and said they were delicious too!
Plenty of beers on tap. She even has Truly on tap (which we have never seen before; not that we like it😂)
We will definitely be back. Both with kids...
Read moreI've never been refused service before in all 27 years of my life, and I grew up in rural North Carolina. My partner and I walked in and were ignored for ten minutes before the blonde bartender offered us drinks. Even after we went and found a menu for ourselves, we were not asked if we wanted to order food. After 25 minutes of being ignored, while the other patrons were offered menus and greeted warmly immediately after entering, we chose to leave without eating, as we clearly we not welcome. Was it our brown skin? Our sexual orientation? The incompetence of a bartender who seemed like she might have been drunk, the way she was cursing? I don't want to come back and find out, and I don't recommend you...
