PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE
Worst catering experience I have ever had.
We had a party at 11:30 so we put in a pickup order weeks ahead with a pickup time of 11am. They called us 10 days before the scheduled pickup date and asked why I hadn't arrived to collect my order. I had to share that they had the wrong date and resent the email verifying they had the wrong date.
On the actual day of the event, we showed up a few minutes before 11 and the meat was still in the smoker. They couldn't provide any timeline on when it would be finished. I then watched the employees take the meat out of the smoker (which was in the parking long), put it in foil trays which were just sitting on the ledge of the smoker but was covered in dirt. It didn't surprise me that the ledge was dirty given it was a mobile smoker, what did surprise me was that the employee stacked the trays on each other without anything covering the meat so all the dirt that was on the bottom of the tray was now in the food. I asked the Manager if that was part of their normal process and the response was "Well, I was just trying to work fast. I don't know what you want me to say. It was a mistake, I'm sorry," and proceeded to just walk away. The food was already late, I can wait another 30 seconds to have clean food. It also didn't help that the apology couldn't have been any less genuine.
We ended up getting our food at 11:30 and when the food was being loaded, a different employee opened our car door and slammed it into the vehicle parked next to us but didn't even acknowledge what had happened.
Our order ended up being incomplete too. They said we were all good to go and since we had a 20 min drive for a party that had started, we got on the road. When unloading, we noticed they didn't give us all of our sides.
I was waiting there the entire time with my wife and 1 year old daughter and all I got was an offer for a soda... It felt like more of a slap to the face than if they hadn't offered anything. They didn't even check in on us, one employee said that they are working on it.... Plus while we were waiting, there was noticeable tension between the manager and the staff. I'm unsure what happened but they clearly took out their frustration on our food and car.
Food wasn't close to being worth what we paid. Will definitely be sure to go out of my way to not support this business and encourage others...
Read moreTurn absolutely horrible experience here today very unlikely for something like this to happen to me but today the folks working here did not look happy in exchange they gave me an unwelcome and customer service experience I will never forget it started off by me ordering my food waiting patiently then after asking if I could please get a couple of sauces I got attitude and I rolls and on top of that I spent almost 50 bucks here anyways the lady went on to say that the sauces weren’t called kinder sauce and then I got interrupted by the manager who also looked very miserable because of her job I didn’t ask to speak to a manager because of my bad customer service experience I was receiving she responded that she was the manager and I was petrified someone like this managing a place such as a restaurant was a horrific thought to me long story short I was told not to eat Their food if I didn’t have a good experience there so not only did they give me bad customer service they ruined my whole experience with my entire meal. I simply was confused as to why I was talking to employees about sauces and why the manager felt she needed a button just to tell me that the kinder sauce was not called the Kender sauce.This was a family outing so it was a really horrible experience despite all of that I walked over to the drinks area to pour myself a sprite and the girl while helping another customer was talking to me still talking back and saying unpleasant things and all I could repeat over and over again was that the customer service I was receiving was horrible and they just did not give a damn very horrible experience I will never be returning to Kender‘s at any location because of this and the manager really needs to reconsider if she really wants to be there simply an experience of unhappy employees Taking it out on...
Read moreDo not waste your time here. Tried going for a quick bite but ended up taking nearly 45 minutes to get a single sandwich and fries. The line to get the food was extremely slow and during this wait we could hear the older woman with glasses working there yelling at the younger staff about various things. When that woman finally took my order she apparently didn't actually put it in as she made everyone else's food except mine. After waiting for about 20-25 minutes I asked for the food and after they struggled to find where the woman even put our order, it then took another 10 minutes for them to make my food. When they were gathering the food to put in the bag, one worker told the woman that the fries a cold and they need to get us fresh ones. She then yelled back at him "they're not warm but they're edible enough!" $5 for barely "edible" fries!? When I FINALLY got the singular sandwich and fries, the sandwich was soggy with barely any meat and put together very sloppily. NOT worth the $20 for a lunch that left me extremely annoyed and not at all satisfied. I feel bad for anyone having to work...
