Panda Express — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

The new Panda Express 🐼 Soft Opening was yesterday and I wanted to express my greatest gratitude to the amazing staff and management for doing an awesome job and giving my daughter an unforgettable experience.

As soon as we entered the establishment, we were warmly greeted by the staff. They were incredibly polite, professional and courteous. One of the staff members ended up gifting my daughter stuffed panda which she LOVES panda bears ☺️🙏

Just as we were enjoying the delicious food, the life-size panda they had waving at customers outside, walked in and my daughter lit up with the biggest cheesy smile on her face 😁. She got so excited she lost her shoe running over to him 😂. We asked if she could take a picture and they agreed which made her even MORE excited 😅.

All in all, it was a great experience and something you wouldn't expect from a chain restaurant but they went ABOVE AND BEYOND we had nothing but good things to say.

This was my first visit to a Panda Express in many years. This location is a newly opened store near my home. I was greeted very well, the staff seemed friendly and happy. It was a bit hard to hear our conversation while ordering, there was a lot of activity going on in the preparation areas. My meal was served hot. The portion was very adequate. The dining area was appealing in its appearance and cleanliness. I was present when an employee collected the trash and was pleased by the precautions he took to keep 'trash' gear away from the beverage station surfaces. Overall, it was a great, renewed first experience. I'd like to add my appreciation of the staff for a visit related aspect. I travel with a service animal (dog). She behaves as expected, largely due to her very extensive and continued training. Other than her presence, she draws no attention to herself, she quietly lays next to me while I eat. Thank you Panda Express for your accepting attitudes...

We ate inside. The pace reminded me of going through a chow line in bootcamp - a combination of insanity and fear. The food was cold and simultaneously overcooked; just bad! HyVee Chinese is leaps and bounds better quality. The atmosphere is loud AF! Not only the sounds of pots and pans smashing everywhere but the corporate speak-screaming by the staff of “WELCOME TO PANDAAAAA” every third person that enters is intolerable. The employees are on autopilot and can’t comprehend even the simplest of questions as we’re being whisked through the line. Absolute nightmare of a business model. Wouldn’t return if it were the only food on the planet...
