The Gentry Shop — Local services in Pleasant Valley Township

I was very dissatisfied with the service and customer service. Went here to get my suit tailored for my wedding. No problems when I got it fitted but when I returned to get it picked up there were multiple issues. They claimed that there was a spot on my suit jacket when it arrived and that they wanted to inform me that this was here before it arrived and they did not do it. I had tried on the suit multiple times before leaving it with them and this spot was never there. When I told them this they were very blunt and disrespectful to their paying customer. They maintained that this was like this when they received it and we're not willing to work with me. Ultimately I overpaid for the tailoring and had to take my jacket to the dry cleaners. Where I find out that the spot cannot be removed because someone had tried to remove a red ink spot and it had spread out to form a pink outline. Gentry shop had claimed this was pink chalk and they could have never done this because they don't own pink chalk. Also the cleaning product used discolored my suit. I was very dissatisfied with my service at this shop. I went to the shop to get my wedding suit tailored. The tailor themselves did not do my appointment, the owner of the shop did. When calling to set up an appointment the owner was very rude and told us just to come whenever. During the appointment he ask if because I was a women with children if I didn’t have a job but just stayed home with them. I told them I need the suit ready the Friday before my wedding. It took 4 extra days for them to finish it and when calling to check on the suit we were given the run around and told it would be finished before the wedding. I've only ever been out to the shops at Gentry Place to get breakfast at LINKS. That breakfast was good, and I would definitely return for other breakfasts here.

What is there to say about Gentry Place in general? Well, there appears to be plenty of parking, the building facade appears new and modern, and the space seems easily accessible by car.

Not sure I'd come back for anything other than LINKS at this point, though. I have no need for a financial advisor, chiropractor, or any of the other services on offer in this area. Still, the space looks nice and there's no reason to otherwise avoid...
