Your Pie Pizza — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

First off we walked in and there was a gentleman standing by the dough looking around and playing with the dough in his hands. We stood there for a good 30 secs and he never greeted us. Finally a woman came and waited on us. While we were paying a very loud man is telling her their labor cost and other cost of doing business. He was interrupting her as she was trying to talk to us. The whole time we were waiting on our food this very loud gentleman was talking to people down by the beer and counter area. I assume they were all employees as to the conversation we clearly heard. The music was louder than usual and was annoying. We got our food, pizza was very good, our whole time eating my husband and I couldn't even have a conversation between the loud music in one ear and this very loud man in the other. He would stand up front and be talking to someone in the back. If u want to talk to someone then go by them. Finally I couldn't take it any longer and told the man that our dining experience was bad that we couldn't talk to each other because of his loudness. He proceeded to interrupt evey time I tried to explain to him our thoughts. He told us that millions of people come in there and enjoy chatting with them. Ya right!. He wasn't chatting with us. He doesn't take complaints very well Giving us all kinds a reasons he was right and had the right to be loud because he ran the place. Well sir, if u think that is the proper way to sarcastically apologize to a customer u are sadly mistaken. Go enjoy your millions of people to chat with and don't give a shit about paying customers comfort while eating. We like your food but we won't be back. I love the idea of putting whatever I want and how much I want on a pizza for one price! They also have whole wheat crust, lots of vegetables, and different cheeses. It's a very thin crust which I like. I think if it had been cooked a little bit longer it would have been crispier and not getting soft in the center (but it wasn't doughy). I am a big fan of red sauce, so I ordered that. The spices in the sauce were flavorful, but the sauce was a bit too salty. I tried the pistachio and creme brulee gelatos, and the lemon sorbet. I'd recommend the latter two, but I wouldn't get the pistachio again. It didn't really taste like pistachio or anything I recognized.

Good soda selection and Self self serve even better. They had a good variety of beer which included local craft brews. Next time!

I was very impressed with the couple running the place. They were very friendly and the lady was especially helpful and came to my table later to ask how my meal was. She even gave me a little extra gelato! The place was also cleaned and the temperature was very comfortable.

Overall, a good but not very good pizza that came fresh and hot to my table only a couple minutes after I paid and got my drink! I would certainly order pizza here again, and while I think their pizza has the chance to be very good, my overall experience and pleasure in dining there...

The pizza is good, everything was prepared and cooked correctly. But, there were two things that took away from the experience: The customer service and the cleanliness. When I got my pizza, it wasn’t cut all the way through, so I looked to see if there were plastic knives up by the drink machine, and there weren’t, so I asked for one. The employee, Christian, looked at me and hastily said,” They’re over by the drink machine.” To which I explained that they were not. He marched over to the drink area and proceeded to find zero knives. He said he would look in the back to find one while I went back to the table, and he made eye contact with me and never brought me a knife, so I had to pull the pizza apart with my hands. Also, every single surface of this place is filthy. The tables, the floor, the counters, the drink machines, everything. I don’t particularly enjoy cleaning in the slightest, but the sight of this place made ME want to scrub it clean. It’s actually disgusting. Ungodly filthy. This place was so nice when it first opened, but as of right now, it’s looking run down. My mom and I were the only two customers in the entire restaurant, so you can’t tell me y’all were that busy that you couldn’t clean. I’ll give you one more chance, but you really need to get your store together or you’re gonna lose a lot more people than just...
