Cook's Seafood — Restaurant in Pleasanton

Noting that there are two establishments here on Google even though they are the same despite different reviews.

We had Cook's today and it was pretty good! The atmosphere was chill and the staff were very friendly; let me sample some of their craft beers which is always appreciated. We ordered the shrimp & crab louie (our favorite out of everything) , clam chowder, and combo fish/shrimp & chips. Overall everything was good and I felt the price point was fair - my only feedback is that the battered fish and shrimp is very thick and cake-y. Some may like this, but I personally prefer a flaky light batter that focuses more on the seafood (the batter just peeled right off). Also, the shrimp was not cleaned well.
