What an overrated place.
Heard from few people who recommended this place so we decided to try it.
Chicken shawarma roll - first few bites were good. Then hit the fenugreek flavor in it which ruined it for me. It tasted bitter and blah.
Chicken 65 roll - Flavorless and boring. How can someone get chicken 65 wrong, it beats me. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Lokhmi - Was intrigued by the name but it was just deep fried puffs. There was literally a tiny teaspoon of meat in it. It was just dough deep fried, literally oozing oil 🤮
Bun Shami- They were the most dull and boring thing. It was literally just the patty n the bun. It was so dry that we ended up leaving it.
The zafrani chai was blah
The Suleimani chai was also nothing special.
Just by giving different names to attract people doesn’t always work.
The tables were left dirty. No one really cared to keep the place nice
The ladies next to the table were so loud, probably the owner of this place. She didn’t care if customers are there and getting bothered with her loud talking.
The worst thing was the restroom. That was pure filthy and disgusting. When restrooms are not clean of any restaurant it shows and tells you of the hygiene of the place.
This place is also expensive, so not worth it.
Wouldn’t recommend this place and not going to waste my money here...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at this Deccan Morsels Pleasanton, The Irani Chai and Zafrani Chai were amazing, and although it's a bit pricey, the upscale area justifies the cost. It's a great spot to hang out with friends over chai and snacks. The Chicken Noodle, Chicken 65, Paneer 65, and Rumali Roti were all delicious and what do I say for Masala fries, one of the best fries I had after long time, The Bun Maska was particularly fantastic. My only suggestion would be to add Keema Pav to the menu, as it's a classic Irani restaurant staple. I love the unique concept, which sets it apart from typical restaurants or fast-food joints. It's perfect for a quick chai...
Read moreThree of our friends wanted to try this new restaurant/tea shop. We ordered butter bun, tea, mutton with Rumali roti, and chicken 65 with Rumali roti....
Good : Pleasant staff, very good tea, good seating and ambiance...Open kitchen.. ability to manage large crowds,
Bad/Could be better - Chicken 65 Rmali roti could have been a little crisper and reduced food coloring. Mutton Tawala Rumali was ok.. could have added a little more spice( not chilies but spices)
My experience is on day one with lots of customers but I am sure they would do well soon. I may visit in a week and update my reviews if the quality is different... My best wishes to this...
