1. Fried crispy king mushrooms was coated with batter meant for sticky rice cake (thick and sweetened), not the light batter meant for frying mushrooms. See pic. It was nasty and inedible not to mention my bag was mostly of the thick batter. 2. XXL chicken thigh was overly refried that it was almost black, inedible. See pic. 3. The chicken stew, had the color of soy sauce but had no taste…was the soy sauce diluted? It was a complete waste of food and money. This last time I went was on an early weekday afternoon maybe the owner/chef wasn’t working? Because this was the first time I’ve seen this lady working the fryer. The food at this location is so inconsistent that I rather get it from Fremont. Anyhow this last time was horrible, as much as I want to support this location, not sure I want to chance it again.

I have been seeing this dish in IG but couldn’t find any place in US that has this dish, I was so happy they have this Taiwanese street food in this area. This place specializes in Taiwanese street food. The noodle soup is slimy just fyi. The noodle is well cooked and the broth is well balanced. I wish they had more oysters or some kinds of protein and vegies for the price. The bowl is medium size, so it won’t fill you up, but I prefer it that way so I can try more dishes. They have an ipad to order. The food came out quick. Self service.

Oh my goodness, literally best "hole in the wall" "mom and pop" shop for fried chicken 🍗! You place your order by the kiosk by the end of this restaurant and wait for your order to be called. Grandma is strong 💪 running around, working hard, chopping chicken, and serving you with a smile 😃. I can hear her greet her customers and thanking them for shopping. If anyone wants authentic Taiwan fried chicken from everyone's grandma, come here!!!!

I feel bad for giving this place a low rating. I want to promote all Taiwanese restaurants, but this place was quite disappointing. It took awhile with our order, but what I'm complaining the most is the quality of the food. I ordered the ground pork rice. It's a traditional dish and they did a horrible job with it, and it had a really bad smell. I don't know if the meat was fresh. I ended up getting food poisoning when I got home. The rest of the family ordered the popcorn chicken. You can't go wrong cooking fried poppers. The most popular dish (fried chicken with rice plate), it was the exact same thing as the chicken poppers and the seasoning. It was quite boring and dry. I don't think I'll ever go back. Sadly...

Disappointing Food, Great Service

The chicken batter was falling apart, and the chicken itself needed much more flavor. It wasn’t very crispy or tasty, which was quite disappointing. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't match up.

Adding to the overall disappointment, the entire food court felt rundown. There were mismatched tables and chairs, and some of the lights were out, giving the place an off-putting vibe. The lack of attention to the ambiance and maintenance made the dining experience even less enjoyable.

Despite the good service, I won’t be coming back due to the poor food quality and the...
