I had a terrible experience with JoJo's tonight! A place that my family and friends have supported for YEARS! Not only did my family and I call for take out this evening, but we spoke with a man with a language barrier who hardly understood what my sister said to him, even though she repeated herself several times. I ordered a sandwich with NO tomatoes. I also ordered my kids chicken tenders and fries and an apple juice (that I had to purchase because apparently even though it says online that a juice is included, it's only included if you're dining in), as if it's too much to throw a bottle of juice in the bag. Anyway, I ordered a bottle of juice since one wasn't included. After the delivery guy left, I quickly noticed he didn't bring the apple juice. I called the restaurant and I got greeted by a young lady saying "This is JoJo's and we're closing". She said this even though it was 10:30pm and they closed at 11pm. When I told her the delivery guy failed to leave the juice, she abruptly handed the phone to an older gentleman (which I use loosely) who began arguing with me that when I ordered, he told me the juice didn't come with the meal. I stated I am aware of that, however I ordered a separate juice. He then denied it and said he didn't charge me for it anyway, while trying to rush me off the phone. I did pay for it, actually. And I should've went down there to complain.. But they can keep that 1.50 plus tax because they have lost my business! They didn't give me an apology, say it was a misunderstanding or anything. He was just argumentative, rude, and disrespectful! Is that what they call "customer service"? If so, they can keep it! Oh, and the icing on the cake is, my wrap (which was drenched in oil and soggy) had tomatoes in it. Never...
Read moreCame here last year and loved it so figured as a family stop let’s go again. Walked in everything looked the same except some stuff from the menu. It was not busy maybe like 5 tables . We ordered drinks and it took 25 minutes after the rest of the table had their drinks for me to get mine. I decided to get gnocchi but didn’t want tomato sauce and was recommended to try the scampi sauce which I lovvveee scampi and coming from Italian restaurant figured it would be good. When it got delivered to the table it was an overpowering garlic smell I do love garlic but this was not just fresh garlic. It had Kalamata olives which are yummy took two bites and couldn’t eat anymore it was like garlic soup with extreme garlic powder all you can taste even the olives had no flavor except garlic I told the waitress and she got the manager Eddie came over and his manor was so unprofessional the way he approached me. He told me it is Sicilian style and that is not scampi I told him I didn’t want it and he said it’s going to go to waste so I said u can eat it and he said oh thank you you bought me dinner and I laughed and he said you are still being charged for this even though you don’t like it. I’m sorry but I took two bites of gnocchi and I just wanted something different that I can enjoy eating and I was refused that service I have never ever ever experienced this type of stuff. Eddie should not be a manager there or maybe should be taught how to be a manager and realize customer service is key. I hope this place turns over so we can go back and try something again but def won’t b there for...
Read moreCame out on Valentine's Day for the first time living in the area for 8 years. Right away we see that the prices are off the charts. You can get 5 star dinners in A.C. for the same prices. We were Sat on a table with no candle condiments, flowers or anything. The waiter apologized for the long wait. It was not busy. We had to wait for drinks, again he apologized and said he had to help the bartender. We ordered a couple of way overpriced apps, and they were just ok. One of our orders was a special surf, and turf for $50.00, and you get an 8.0z streak, with crab meat, and a small 6 oz lobster tail. We ordered it medium rare. It took forever, and it wasn't busy at all. The steak came out medium well to well done. We were starving cause it took forever to come out....so we overlooked it being overcooked. When the waiter asked how everything was...we explained that thesteak was over done, and showed him. We are not ones to send food back, or complain. He offered a complimentary Valentine's drink special for the steak being well done. When we received the check the "free" drink was on the bill ($13 for a weak drink. It was literally a Shirley Temple) He then played dumb. We had to explain that he offered the drink because of our steak being way overdone....and we would have sent back, but we were starving, and everything took so long. The waiter stated he thought we ordered it on our own, after he offered it on the house. Welcome to 2023!!! We will never go back. Lost opportunity for local pizza lover's too. Awful experience...medicore food, and service. I would give zero...
