Many other reviewers have spoken of the tremendous hospitality and service at La Bistecca. We had a similar experience. Our waitperson, Jasmina (I hope I spelled that correctly) was attentive and the food arrived accurately and in a timely fashion. As for the food, I often find the appetizers the most interesting menu items. The special of the day was a tomato bisque that sounded too good to pass up. It had great flavor and texture, but it had too much salt for my preference. The flavor would have carried it with 1/2 the salt. One of our guests ordered the Brussels sprouts. They have a mustard in them, which I don't usually like, but it was a really good quality mustard and it didn't overpower the other flavors, so in spite of my dislike of that ingredient, I thought the sprouts were excellent and I'd highly recommend them as a starter (of course, bacon is almost cheating). Another guest likes to start with dessert, so she ordered the Tiramisu. This is another dish I don't usually order because I'm not fond of coffee. The coffee was very subtle and the whole thing was another hit! I particularly liked that it was very light and not overly sweet. The perfect balance! Two of us had the Frutti di Mare con Bucatini (I think this translates to fruit of the sea with Bucatini). I was baby scallops, shrimp, and bucatini pasta in a creamy pesto sauce. The seafood was cooked perfectly. It's easy to overcook shrimp, but these still had just the right amount of softness. The pasta was one of the best I've had -- not quite el dente, but it had a satisfying chew that you only get with freshly made pasta. The sauce had a complex flavor that would have stood on its own without so much cheese. To be fair, I didn't realize that there was cheese in it already, so when Jasmina offered me more, I took some before quickly realizing I didn't need it. Two other members of our party had veal and salmon. They both thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. The lemon butter sauce on the salmon was rich and tasty. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and when I called ahead, they offered us a complimentary dessert, which they brought out with a candle. It was creme brulee, and one of the best I've had. The brulee was crisp, but not too thick and the creme was smooth and creamy without being too sweet.

This restaurant blew our socks off! From the moment we stepped in we were greeted with a smiling face and taken back to our table that was so beautifully set (rose napkins? Love it!). We made this reservation for our 4 year wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty the whole evening. We were lucky enough to meet and converse with the owner Jerry and he gave amazing recommendations and told us stories, it was so lovely! We ordered a drink and had to try the Salsiccia Alla Cacciatore. That Constanza family sausage was truly the most delicious sausage I have ever eaten. Then the warm bread with olive oil and pepper puree was so good I was afraid I would spoil my dinner by eating it all. My main was the Costola Corta Di Manzo (short rib with horseradish risotto) which was so rich and creamy and literally melted in my mouth. My husband got the 24 Oz Piedmontese Ribeye "Cowboy" and this was a serious steak that was cooked to perfection! Even the side of green beans were some of the best seasoned vegetables ever. The night ended with them surprising us with the most perfect creme brulee with a candle. So sweet! I wish I had done this review sooner so I could remember the name of our server and give her a shout out. She was so attentive and kind. She even made sure I got some to go truffle mac and cheese and their limited edition cinnamon roll cheesecake (not pictured but soooo tasty). We will definitely be back for another special occasion so we can try even more of this stacked menu.

We visited La Bistecca Italian Grille on a weekday when our first-choice restaurant was fully booked. Found this spot on Yelp and got a reservation immediately. Despite being a busy night, the experience was smooth, and the service was top-notch. The restaurant has a dim and quiet ambiance, making it perfect for a relaxed dining experience. Service was very attentive, and from the moment we were seated, everything felt well taken care of. Starting with the warm, crusty bread served with roasted pepper dipping sauce and bean salad, we knew we were in for a treat. The drinks were strong and well-balanced. For the mains, I had the Chicken Parmesan—easily the best I’ve ever had! The chicken was flavorful and cooked to perfection. While the pasta could have been better, the overall dish was still a winner. We also ordered the Salmon Piccata, and it was equally impressive. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the roasted potatoes were crisp and delicious, and the asparagus was fresh. Each entrée came with a house salad, which was just okay. Though we had no room for dessert, the quality of the food here truly justifies the price point. I’ve also heard great things about their steaks, which I’d love to try next time. There’s ample parking available, making it easy to dine without hassle. If you’re looking for a great Italian fine-dining experience in Plymouth, La Bistecca is definitely worth a visit!

I typically never leave reviews for restaurants but after eating here last night I had to leave one. Honestly the BEST meal I've EVER had. I made a reservation here for my boyfriend's birthday in the dining room. We made a 40 minute drive, so I was a little nervous that we would be let down (we never go out to eat in Plymouth, so this was a new experience). I was blown away! Hospitality is a 10/10 - the entire staff is so kind! The ambiance is a 10/10 - the lighting is so romantic and the restaurant is so clean (bathrooms are spotless). Our server, Kevin, was knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave us a rundown about the restaurant, its history, and about the food itself. He was super polite, SO speedy, and one of the best servers I've ever had! We started with a margarita and a moscow mule - pretty good, what you would typically expect. But the food was insane!! The bread they brought to the table was so fresh, and we loved the bean dip/salad they served with it. we ordered the Arrancini as an appetizer, the sauce was delicious. The side salads were so flavorful, I loved the caesar salad (the dressing was amazing). I ordered the Filettini Siciliana, which came with parmesan risotto....... I literally could cut the steak with my FORK - that's how tender it was. It was my first time trying risotto ever and I was so impressed! My boyfriend had the braised beef short rib and ordered the mushroom risotto (instead of the horseradish risotto), the short rib was so tender that it fell apart when he cut into it. His risotto was also delicious. The food is very well-priced - the portions are HUGE and the quality is perfect and so flavorful. We ordered a tiramisu for dessert, and it was (no joke) one of the best desserts I've ever had (and it was huge!!!) Kevin even put a birthday candle on it! If you are going to take anything away from this review, let it be this: (1) Order a dish with beef in it! I promise you won't be disappointed; and (2) Request Kevin as your server! He will made your dining experience one to remember! We will 1000000% be returning for...

We’ve consistently enjoyed outstanding meals at LaBistecca, which is why I chose it to host my father’s 80th birthday celebration for 20 guests. From the moment I began planning, Jerry, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He personally met with me to discuss the menu, appetizers, and desserts, and even created a beautiful personalized menu for each guest, featuring a picture of my dad. The attention to detail was simply exceptional.

The service was equally impressive. Three incredible staff members took orders, served drinks, and catered to everyone’s needs with flawless precision and warmth—no request was too big or small. They were nothing short of fantastic! Throughout the evening, Jerry made multiple visits to check in and ensure everyone was satisfied, showcasing the genuine care and hospitality that defines LaBistecca. A lovely touch was when Jerry introduced us to the chef, adding an extra layer of personal connection and appreciation for the talent behind the amazing dishes. They also thoughtfully prepared a special plate for our vegetarian guest, ensuring that everyone’s dietary needs were met with the same level of care and excellence.

And then there was the food—truly a masterpiece! The Arancini and Sausage and Peppers were the perfect appetizers, setting the stage for the main course. The Filet, Chicken Marsala, and Spaghetti and Meatballs tasted as if they had been prepared by a grandmother’s loving hand—comforting, flavorful, and utterly memorable. The Cannolis, served with fresh fruit, were the perfect sweet ending to a perfect meal.

The evening was a resounding success, with everyone leaving with full stomachs and glowing praise. Most importantly, my dad had the time of his life, surrounded by family and savoring exquisite food. A heartfelt thank you to Jerry, the entire team at LaBistecca, and the talented chef for making this milestone birthday celebration truly...
