Where do I even begin with my experience at "Foodie Delight"? It was an absolute disaster from start to finish. This is, without a doubt, one of the worst restaurants I have ever had the misfortune of dining at.
Let's start with the ambiance. The restaurant was dimly lit, giving it a gloomy and unwelcoming atmosphere. The decor was outdated and worn, making it clear that no effort had been put into maintaining the place. The tables were sticky, and the chairs were uncomfortable. It felt like dining in a run-down diner from the 80s.
The service was abysmal. The waitstaff seemed disinterested in their job and lacked basic courtesy. It took an eternity for someone to even acknowledge our presence, and when they finally did, they were rude and inattentive. Our orders were mixed up, and we had to repeatedly remind them of our requests. It was a struggle to get their attention throughout the entire meal.
Now, let's talk about the food, or rather, the lack thereof. The menu promised a wide range of culinary delights, but the reality was far from it. The dishes were poorly executed, lacking in both taste and presentation. The ingredients tasted stale and seemed like they had been sitting out for far too long. It was evident that no care or attention was given to the preparation of the food.
To make matters worse, the portion sizes were laughably small, especially considering the exorbitant prices they charged. We left the restaurant feeling hungry and unsatisfied, both physically and financially. It was a complete waste of our hard-earned money.
To top it all off, the hygiene standards were questionable at best. The restrooms were filthy and neglected, with broken fixtures and an unpleasant odor. It was a clear indication of the lack of cleanliness throughout the entire establishment.
In conclusion, my experience at "Foodie Delight" was nothing short of a nightmare. The shabby ambiance, terrible service, subpar food, and questionable hygiene practices make this restaurant one to avoid at all costs. Save your time and money and find a more deserving establishment to satisfy your...
Read moreBecause of their lack of effort, integrity, and honesty, I ended up in the Emergency Room going into anaphylactic shock, it was made known to them that I had a severe shellfish allergy, especially shrimp, once we were all seated for the rehearsal dinner the grooms mother confirmed with the waitress next to me that there was no shrimp. It did not take long for me to look at the groom and tell him that something wasn’t right, and then we realized that what looked like chicken fingers were actually in fact deep fried shrimp in a thick batter that I had fully eaten. I was immediately brought to the hospital and spent hours being monitored and drugged as my throat was nearly closed when we arrived there. Following that, our waitress yelled at the bride, plus others, blaming us for what had happened. After I was finally released from the hospital I went back to speak to a manager, I was met with nothing short of rudeness and a lack of caring that they had sent a me to the ER. Their final reason for it happening was a “language barrier”. With that being said, the waitress when called over by the manager was screaming and could not look me in the eyes or at me, and continued to say she had worked there 15 years and it was not her fault. If you have any form of allergy, I highly suggest to stay away from this restaurant, as they are not at all qualified to handle or take care of one. I spent the entire wedding day and through the wedding exhausted, run down, and still on medication to ensure my body did not try to shut down again. I could not participate in any festivities of my own cousins wedding, which I officiated and struggled to do. Rudeness and lack of integrity as well as a lack of honesty is all this place...
Read moreNO NO NO! Do NOT stop here..... even if it is the only place open on a Monday after a holiday (like I did with my husband and two son ).....AWFUL!!!!!! In brief: Place was mostly empty except bar area(should have been our red flag!) Server seemed annoyed when we arrived, did not smile or greet us in a friendly manner. We asked for hot green tea and were told harshly NO TEA! (SERIOUSLY?!What Chinese restaurant doesn't serve hot tea?) Red flag #2. (We should have reconsidered staying at that point!) Soft drinks arrived (lemonade and iced tea)and tasted SO AWFUL( bad water!?) after first sip we returned for ginger ale. (Red flag #3 .....we REALLY SHOULD'VE LEFT!) Food arrived LUKEWARM! No soup, salad or even white rice included with ANY DISH. YES...We stayed for the duration.....bottom line: IT WAS LATE and we were HUNGRY. Chicken chow mein was a plateful of sauteed onions with a bit of chicken in slimy sauce. House chicken was swimming in sticky sauce. Orange beef was extremely dried out probably from overheating so many times. Chicken lo mein was mostly noodle. We all ate a portion of our dishes due to being HUNGRY....big mistake!!!! These 4 dishes plus one lukewarm soup and one order of (LUKEWARM) steamed dumplings resulted in a $98 bill and 4 people with stomach issues for the rest of the evening!!!! NO NO NO...
