PJ Campbell's is considered a German restaurant as they serve some of the finest German entrees out there. But in addition, offer some other popular entrees. Ours was a fabulous 1st time experience! We had a table reserved and had our orders taken right away, and food was brought out quickly and was out of this world good! Good portion size, made to perfection. Service was attentive and pleasant. Prices are fair for the amount and quality of food you get. They have a kids menu where everything is like $2.50! Can't beat that, and you can order for your little and not feel like you wasted money if they dont eat! Lol! I had the full rack of ribs, which fell off the bones, and if you're like me and like to get every little bit of meat and sauce off the bones, only required 2 fingers! 🤣 (their bbq sauce also was amazing!) Dinner came with 2 side choices; choose between a salad, potato, soup, or veggies, I had veggies and salad with their vinegrette that should be bottled it was so good! Hubby had Spicey chicken sausage Alfredo, which was a full plate of food and also sides, but he thought portion could have been bigger, but good for the average person. (He has a healthy appetite)😉 Daughter(it was her birthday) had chicken schnitzel, and son in law had the pork hock. Both were giant servings and looked amazing! I attached pics of all dishes. Then, just when I thought nothing could make this night any better, the waitress asked if we would like any dessert (I can typically pass on dessert) or....ice cream drink??!! 😲 Weakness alert!!! They have Grasshoppers or Brandy Alexander and a couple of others I'm not familiar with. But I am a sucker for mint ice cream, so of course I had to order the Grasshopper! YUM!😋 So all in all our 1st experience at PJ'S was excellent, and I highly recommend checking them out!

My wife and I had reservations here for Valentine's Day. After a small issue after arriving (they had trouble finding our week old reservations) we were promptly seated. Our server was very polite and efficient, took our drink order and asked if we would like rolls for our table and was back in seconds for our appetizer order and 2 rolls with 2 individual butters..... Within minutes she returned with our appetizer(how they made deep fried portobello mushrooms in less then 3 minutes is a mystery to me, I think they microwaved them) and took our order. Wife had the Pork Schnitzel with 2 sides, Brussel sprouts and fried spaetzle, I had the Chicken Parm special with 1 side, potato pancakes also ordered a salad for myself. When our food arrived we were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes...they were very big, you won't leave hungry. Wife said her Schnitzel was good as well as the Spaetzle, my Chicken Parm was on angel hair pasta but was delicious. Pros- portion sizes, service, speed of service. Cons- 2 dinner rolls instead of a basket Sides included your soup or salad and special only got 1. Entrees get 2. Potato Pancakes were dry and much more like breakfast hashbrowns Salad was basically wilted Arugula mix with a cherry tomato and slice of cucumber. Salad dressing as well as ranch for mushrooms was served in a plastic to go cup rather than a small dipping bowl or cup like you're eating in a dining room and not a fast food joint. Prices were a bit steep not sure if this was a Valentine's Day price surge? But we spent about $75 not including the tip and were only here for about 45 minutes total for the entire meal...yes they were that fast. Would I go again? Probably to try a non holiday version. I don't give up after 1 shot. Photos included show our meals.

This is one of my Dad's favorite restaurants, for their pork hocks. They specialize in German food. Everything is homemade & servings are plentiful. Wait staff is attentive and quick. They're always full, so make reservations at least a day in advance. I enjoyed The Depot Steak Sandwich during this visit. It was a tender & juicy 8oz chopped steak, served open-face on a buttered roll, piled high with grilled onions & sauteed fresh mushrooms, grilled to perfection, that literally melted in my mouth. Mom enjoyed the Reuben, and half was plenty. Their potato pancakes taste like hashbrowns though, and are served with applesauce instead of syrup. All tables get a basket of freshly made dinner rolls too. Full dinners come with two sides; and sandwiches come with one side. FYI: The pork hocks come with 2, despite menu saying one. For me, I think I'll order that steak sandwich every time...what a treat that was!

OK, as we all know, service these days has been a little... rough to say the least. At most places. Not here! Yay! Finally someone that still cares about their job and place of employment. Busy, on an early Thursday evening, in Plymouth, is a good sign. It came highly recommended from the owner of the Plank Road Distillery - also awesome place. He was not wrong. Steak was very good and reasonably priced. Ribs, yes, get the ribs. Very good fall off ribs. Didn't care for the dumplings, but that was it. Everything else from the salad to the house wine, to the old fashioneds, to the amazing ribs was great.

But the real shout out goes to that crew. Our waitress, hostess, and the bartender had great personalities which is so so hard to come by these days. The food was a little slow from a super huge carry out order, but we didn't mind. 90$ for steak n shrimp, ribs, sides and cocktails. I cannot recommend this place enough. Its busy for a reason. Go here. Sit at the bar tables. Have a great time at a great price. Can't...
