Plank Road Distillery — Local services in Plymouth

We went on an early evening week day. It wasn't too busy, which was nice. Everyone in there seemed to be happy and had some sort of relationship with the guy that runs the place. He seems genuine and easy to talk with. Neat place. Super amped to have found it. Highly recommend.

Interesting items of note: 750ml bottles range from 25 to 33 dollars, one was 40$ I think. They have "to go kits" which makes easy large volume of a cocktail - think BBQ or beach party sort of thing, like what you would use a gallon jug dispenser for, for 50$. They also have a room upstairs that I would say could comfortably fit maybe ten people that they will rent out when you buy 300$ worth of booze. Which can be done, but it takes a while at 15$ for a flight of 4 short cocktails. Cocktails are all very good. TRY THE BLUE GIN!

Service is great and friendly. location is small but so cute! There’s both seating indoors and outdoors. I love the concept of their plank flights where you can select any 4 cocktails to try.

However. Between all the drinks my friend and I tried, i unfortunately didn’t like any of them. They were so pretty and we were very excited based on the descriptions of each but they were anywhere from not good to undrinkable. I know this is a preference thing and maybe I’d eventually find a drink on the menu that I’d like and didn’t pick the right ones but I honestly didn’t enjoy any. It was pretty disappointing.

Don’t let me review steer you completely. This is just my opinion but I’m sure there are others that enjoyed them!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this...

This is a unique experience. You choose 4 drinks you would like. They are served to you as a flight on a wooden plank. They have a rotating selection of drinks. They are made up ahead of time and stored in large jars along the bar. When you place your order, they are quickly dispensed and served. There is seating near the bar, outside, and upstairs. We enjoyed the peach, lavender, bloody Mary, and the creamy cow. We did not care for the combination of citrus and dairy in the key lime pie drink. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. A good time...
