I’ll begin by stating that all the food tasted amazing! We moved to Pocomoke during COVID and have ordered to-go meals quite a bit for. Lin’s. Always had our orders perfect! Never forgot any items. This is important to note because we have a family of 8 and always order a bunch of food.
Tonight was the first time we actually decided to dine in. The first thing that bothered me was that the young man wanted to seat my husband and I in a corner booth that had a table against a wall and we would have to face that wall. It was a very awkward seating arrangement. The table next to it was becoming available and just needed cleaned. As we waited for the next clean table to become available another employee came to see if we were ready to be seated. She didn’t listen to a word i said about waiting for a clean table. Instead, she skipped us and sat the couple that was behind us.
Fast forward to finally getting seated, the waitress was very occupied. She was kept so busy that we were sitting for nearly 10 minutes before she took our drink orders. Our wine came out in martini glasses. Thought that was strange. It was another 15-20 minutes before our orders were taken. When the food came it was perfect. (Their miso soup was on the bland side but everything was full of flavor) We had to flag our waitress down for the soy sauce, then flag her down again for refills. She never stopped to ask if we were good or needed anything.
I don’t know if the problem was because they were under staffed or what, but it definitely took away from a good date night experience.
Giving 4 stars instead of 3 only because the food tastes great.
Hubby wants to go back in a couple weeks and give them a second chance. I’ll update this...
Read moreThis place is truly a hidden gem. Dined with family and everyone ordered from different areas of the menu. My husband had 2 sushi dishes which he said were just as good as the sushi he's had in japan. I had an egg roll and the vegetable hibachi which was full of flavor and a variety of veggies, the sauce was amazing. The egg roll was perfectly cooked and had amazing flavor. My father had the orange chicken and steamed dumplings. The chicken was made with all white meat (ie no gristle) and the dumplings were full of perfectly seasoned meat. My mother had the wonton soup and curry chicken. The curry was spicy and perfectly seasoned with ample amounts of chicken. The soup had multiple large wontons which were packed with meat. The dining area was large and spacious, service was impeccable and timely. Portions were very generous (everyone left with take out boxes), ingredients were fresh, and the price was fair. $88 for a family of 4 with 3 appetizers, 5 entrees, and 4 beverages. This will definitely be a regular favorite of mine when visiting family in the area. If you haven't stopped in before, and you love asian cuisine, I highly...
Read moreI moved here from NY when I married my husband. I miss all the amazing cuisine in NY especially delicious Chinese Food. I was thrilled to find Lin’s Chinese in our town, the food is good. We order from them frequently. But my last 2 orders I’m so saddened that I was not happy. My first disappointment was they don’t give us the right order, now granted the dish I ordered was less then the dish I got but they also forgot to give us our egg rolls. Which we paid for. I didn’t call to complain but on next order I just simply asked them to be more attentive. Well we got our order correct, but unfortunately my dish was a mei fun dish which has scrambled eggs in dish. I take a bite, egg shells. Ok that can happen so I continue to eat along bang another huge bite of egg shells. Ok so I figure that’s got to be it, nope!! A third huge hit of egg shells. After that I gave up on eating any more of the dish besides it was extremely greasy this time not like normal. I assume my complaint on ordering did not sit well with them. I’m sorry yes it’s normally good food, but after that experience we will not be back at least any time soon. Very...
