Good pleasant people to deal with and they have a great selection of hard to find items for just about anything and if they don't have it, They will try their best to get it for you and what I liked most about them is this, I bought a very expensive chain saw from Lowe's and since it was most likely going to be my last saw, I thought I would buy what was supposed to be the best, Well anyway I had nothing but issues with the saw since the first month that I had owned the saw & Lowe's wouldn't do anything about it, Well I walked out of Lowe's upset and I seen the Ace hardware sign across the street and I thought, I am going to go see what kind of chainsaws they had because I was just going to buy another chainsaws and I went over to their store and well they sold the same kind that I had already bought and wanted nothing more to do with & then this Gentleman came up and asked if he could help me with anything and I asked him if they sold any other saws besides the junk ones sitting there and he said why do you say that & I told the guy about my saw & what happened and he asked if I had the saw with me & I told him yes & so he asked me to go get it & bring it to him& so I did & once he looked at it, This man got on the phone and called someone from were the chainsaw was made and he said he would take care of getting it right for me and Boy did he ever and I have had the best chainsaw ever since and This is what I call going way above being customer service and I have been very happiy dealing with them ever since and YES I highly recommend this place & the people...
Read moreWe spent a lot of money renting equipment from Ace in Pocomoke Md. They sent us out with equipment that needed repairs. They sent them out with no fuel. Which cost us the customer a lot of money and upset our customers because we couldn’t complete our jobs in a timely manner. That’s the way we do business in a timely manner. It hurt our business not theirs. They would get equipment in at 7:30 am and send it out at 8 am without it being serviced examined or filled with fuel. They also do not inspect machines before sending them out with you. They then will blame damages on you for broken equipment. A good practice would be to take pictures before it left the lot and when it returned for each customer so innocent customers are not to blame. I even suggest this practice to them. Now I am band from renting equipment from them. That’s a women standing up for herself in a man’s business world. That’s ok I will prosper in my business without ace hardware in Pocomoke Md. Their loss not mine. Their mechanic is lazy and does not even know how to operate his own equipment. He had me out on one of my job sights with the machine broke down again. Literally holding down pedals underneath this big piece of equipment. I finally told him I was feeling very unsafe doing so and would not continue putting my life in jeopardy, due to the fact he didn’t know what he was doing!!!! Beware when renting from these people. They discriminate...
Read moreSo yesterday mom Mom and her friend went to Ace Hardware in Pocomoke. Let me tell you the way they were treated by the disrespectful men working there was ridiculous. Acted like having to do their job was a chore they didn't want to do. The man cut her friend off muliptle times like her asking a question was just too much to wrap his head around. Interesting enough the same attitude was nowhere to be found when dealing with male customers. I promise you if I had been in the store and not just on the phone with my mom it would have been a much bigger problem for Ace Hardware. If that's the type you employ there I can guarantee nobody in our family or friend circle will be back to that store. So if your a woman and you want to be treated with even basic respect go to the Ace hardware in Princess anne or Salisbury. I will also be blasting this all over my social media. This kind of behavior needs to be addressed instead of ignoring actions like this by employees. I'm sure whoever runs this business knows that woman spend plenty of money at their business also. It's 2025 not the 1800s woman aren't seen and not heard anymore. Sad I am raising a daughter to live in a world with men that treat woman like wall paper still. Smh do better...
