I highly recommend this place. The food was so delicious and the staff were very hospitable and knowledgeable. My girlfriend and I have both worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for a long time and we both were so impressed and amazed. It was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.
We decided to eat lunch at Koby's on January 14th. We were passing through and saw a sign that said "Koby's Creekside Grill". The ambiance was so homie and cool. There were porch plants scattered throughout and growing neatly in different pots hanging from the ceiling and strategically placed around the dining area. It was a cold windy day and it felt like eating in a tiny warm greenhouse.
"Manny" was the young kid/young adult that greeted us and took care of us. I made sure to use the word kid because I want to highlight how impressed we were. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and hospitable. I felt so at home and happy as soon as I walked through the door and he greeted us offered to offer us a table.
The food was so delicious. I asked about the soup of the day and Manny said give me a second I don't know the best way to explain it. He leaned through the window to the kitchen and asked Koby how to explain it. Yes Koby was in the kitchen cooking at Koby's Creekside Grill. I loved that. Koby leaned out the window and said something along the lines of "it has vegetables in it, broth, and spices. I don't know how to really explain it besides it's delicious. You should get it, you won't be disappointed." He was right, we weren't disappointed. My significant other and I both got the soup and the chicken pargeiot pita sandwich. The soup was in fact so delicious it came with some pita to soak up the broth. I really wouldn't know how to explain it either but it was fantastic. The pita sandwich was delectable. The sandwich was so pretty and appetizing with all of the veggies and chicken stuffed in it. It was one of those meals I wish I could eat over and over again. We left feeling full and satisfied.
I wish this place was near where I lived and not three hours away because I would eat here at least once a week if I could. I'm just happy and grateful we stumbled upon this gem while driving by and got the chance to meet Manny and Koby as well as taste Koby's delicious food. I can't sing enough praises...
Read moreThe place was good but the food was below average..
It was something we didn’t expect from this place. We had the food but the taste was not to the scale of what we paid for.. presentation was good but the meal was not flavourful
The humus and pitas were good though..
Price was above average price compared to other fine dining restaurants.
“”Response from the owner 6 hours ago (July 4,2024): “hey shivang each have there own taste in food, I guess this one was not for you.. all the best”
This is the first time I ever received this kind of weird response from the owner of the restaurant. Indirectly the owner is saying I’m responsible for the taste (This is not the first time I had Israeli food!) A very weird and rude response I ever received from the owner.
My response to the owner with all due respect - I share the honest reviews from my personal experience, I’m not here to demote your business. And this is not the first time I tried Israeli food. I know the taste and delicacy very well. I’ve been reviewing restaurant and places for more than 15 years. You can check my review profile. I never received such a response like this from the owner stating “I’m...
Read moreWe made reservations under my wife's name for 4pm today, June 22, for 2 people and the text message from the restaurant said to call if we would be late, so we arrived early (10-15min) just in case. Upon arriving, since it was our first time there, we first went up near the outside bar/cooking area and was stared at by one of the workers looking at us over his glasses instead of at least asking if we need help. So after a minute, we decided maybe we needed to go to the inside window, where we were asked if it was our first time there and we informed them we had reservations at 4. First they told us to take an inside table, which would have been hot with the sun coming out. Then we sat down where the other gentleman told us, he disappeared. No one stopped again for the next 5-10 minutes...not to bring menus, not to bring water...nothing even though the other large table who sat at the same time already had salads and drinks. So we left and will not be back, no matter how nice the creek view is. We are happily enjoying a meal at another restaurant that is 18 minutes away where we were sat right away, already have drinks and apps, and...
