UPDATE: I run a Facebook Group of local women who work from home. It's a relatively new group, and I was tasked with putting together our 1st luncheon. Being new to the area, I had no idea where to have the lunch, but someone suggested Taste of Susan's Grill, and I remembered the cute restaurant and awesome food from my sister's and my previous visit and thought it would be a perfect place... AND IT WAS! Again, Susan and her staff were wonderful, and the food was amazing. It was a perfect place for a group of 20 women who needed to get out of the house and enjoy ourselves for an hour. I can't recommend this establishment more hightly.

(SIDENOTE: Susan, I am sorry for running out without saying goodbye and thank you. My SUV didn't start that morning, and I was using Uber. My ride got there super quick to take me home, and you were not visible when I left. So, thank you so much to accomodating our group and for making our first luncheon so lovely. Everybody raved about everything! I hope you will have us back!)

My sister and I are here on a Friday afternoon before antiquing next door. We were the only people there, and the staff treated us like VIPs. The food was delicious. My sister had the salmon that was super fresh, and I had the cabbage rolls, which were delicious and plentiful. My order came with 4 rolls, which provided me with dinner and lunch the next day. I highly recommend Taste of Susan's Grill. We...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Susan's Grill House and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating.

But what really stood out to me was the food. Susan's Grill House serves authentic eastern European cuisine, and every dish I tried was absolutely delicious. I started with the pierogi, which were stuffed with savory fillings and cooked to perfection. For my main course, I had the goulash, which was rich and hearty with tender chunks of beef and flavorful spices.

The restaurant also has a great selection of drinks, including some unique eastern European beers and wines. I tried the house red wine and was pleasantly surprised by how well it paired with my meal.

Overall, I highly recommend Susan's Grill House to anyone looking for authentic Georgian cuisine in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food is truly outstanding, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is conveniently located on Rd. 611 and not far from Rd. 715. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...

We had business up in the Tannersville area and wanted to take a break so we stopped by and longed for a nice cup of fresh brewed coffee and a homemade dessert. Susan prepares the restaurant specialties every day. Today, she presented Turkish coffee: black, smooth and bold, a Napoleon filled with a layer of sweet cheese enveloped by the flaky phyllo crust, dusted in toasted coconut. My fave, baklava is always full of nuts and good homemade dough. We couldn’t resist ordering some take out for tonight’s dinner: for more HOMEMADE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP, cabbage rolls , beet salad, and those scrumptious homemade desserts that Susan mother makes, I.e. Napoleon and Baklava to enjoy home later.

BTW: For those reviewer folks who don’t know that HOMEMADE FOOD requires a different time frame as it’s MADE FROM SCRATCH, there are a lot of fast food options up and down art 611. This place is BYOB, sit down, chat a bit and patiently wait for that...

The chicken skewers were excellent! My husband said the lamb was a bit too fatty. The bean salad was very tasty, but might be a bit heavy on the salt for some. The "honey cake" was amazing! And cheese pastry was excellent (even my four year old loved it). I really, really wish the skewers came with rice and bread. I had to come home and make my own sides--as we'd assumed take-out would come with some sides? 🤷‍♀️ Particularly for the price, sides would have been great. We got a decent amount of food (and meat is pricey) but I was still shocked by the $80+ price tag, for take out, for three. I did ask for a clarification of the bill before paying, and the woman running the bill ran down a list of items I had ordered, but there was no itemized bill to check. It may very well have been accurate, but left me feeling unsure and a bit uncomfortable, if I'm honest.

We were so pleasantly surprised and then impressed by this amazing restaurant! The menu contains food from various post-Soviet countries. So it’s fun to pick and choose the country you want to travel to with your taste buds. We’ve tried quite a few things on the menu, including borscht, manty (big dumplings with lamb), blintnzi, pilaf, and of curse a delicious dessert cake Napoleon. Every single dish was really delicious and cooked to perfection! The owner of the place Susan and her team were incredibly hospitable and generous. You can tell that they’re pouring their heart into everything they do. Very kind and sweet people! We couldn’t resist and had to pick up more borscht, okroshka, and cake on the way out. Highly recommend going to this amazing restaurant and trying their tasty dishes!
