I would come here on my lunch cause the bagels are delicious. My wife wanted to come here the other day and I decided to go somewhere else. I told her why, and she was disgusted what I saw was absolutely horrendous. I came in to order I saw a young girl with blonde hair and a young boy pick bagels up off the ground from behind the counter, some of them in a garbage can and the rest back in a basket absolutely disgusting I was coming in for a long time till I saw that I don't know what kind of people you have working here, but clearly they don't care about cleanliness or peoples health because no one wears gloves. They vape behind the counter. This place is dirty
Update:: Tony unfortunately my wife was the one who wanted to come there I was the one who was there in your store and watched everything that happened the it was at at least 10am when that happened so unfortunately it wasn't the end of day I literally watched them throw some in the trash and put the others back in the basket on the shelf you have cameras look at them the girl saw me standing there and even said to the boy there's a customer right there smh maybe the health department needs to come and assist in this situation cause food can get some one sick and your team needs a little wake-up call and your self as well cause you clearly don't seem to care as well smoking behind your counters no gloves and...
Read moreWe have tried every bagel place around and we feel that this place comes out on top for the following reasons... Bagels are very good quality. Freshly baked, soft dough on the inside, good crisp outside. Flavours are bold, toppings on the outside, such as everything mix, are even. Don't seem to use food dyes like at other places. Good size, not too big. Cost -$8.99 for a dozen. Customer service is very good, friendly staff. Can be a little slow in summer when they're doing a lot of hot orders off the grill. Agree with others on here that they shouldn't charge extra for toasting a bagel, but I've never ordered a fresh bagel to be toasted! Tony (the owner) remembers us and always has a quick chat. Flavors. All the usuals, plus 'doubles' like Double Cinnamon raisin. The French toast, which are nice but could have a better topping, maybe a crunch rather than a simple glaze. Blueberry in summer only, wish it was all year.
This place is very good and has been around forever in a competitive market. Easy to see why this place survives when others like New York bagel on Route 88 have gone out...
Read moreI called ahead and was put on hold by a young lady so I decided to drive over after being on hold for 10 mins. I stayed on the line so when they answered I could order and it would be hopefully ready when I there by the time I got there. With all the traffic recently my on hold drive turned into 24 mins waiting on hold and I walk in and hung up and there was one person in the store. The lady at the front was making a breakfast sandwich and then there was two girls in the back on there phone just laughing while she was trying to make orders and take orders. Then the lady asked for help, one of the girls comes up looks so pissed off the phone rings and she puts someone else on hold while i’m ordering from the lady and while I was there that phone was not picked back up she helped a customer and went back to her phone. This only bothers me because I’ve been going here since i was younger it just upsets me that the lady wasn’t being helped and that this isn’t the first time i’ve been left on hold...
