Vesuvios Pizza — Restaurant in Point Pleasant

During our wandering out to see how hectic the last couple of shopping day's before Christmas were, we stopped here for a number of slice's of pizza.

Had seen this places advertised on a t-shirt of a employee at another Pizzeria that Kit and I had been to last week.

While on Facebook this morning a Vesuvio's Nicky's Place was in my feed. It was for a Pizzeria in Millstone, NJ and when I did a Google search it was listed as was this location...

They both were 30 minutes away, but since we were going to be out and about in the Brick and Tom's River areas, This one in Point Pleasant won the New Place to Us Drop-in!!!

Kit Dwight , chose 2 Plain slices and I had 2 Pepperoni & Sausage slices and also a Plain slice...

All slice's were delicious, the cheese, sauce and the toppings were of good quality, but I would of liked more crumbled Sausage and slice's of Pepperoni 🍕 on the slices.

Real, old school pizzeria, with some nice fresh takes on things and inventive items. Try the new breadsticks. Their pizza is my favorite. My fave slice in town or honestly anywhere else (looking at you north Jersey and New York). Nice guys at the counter. Dario is a great dude and he's been there/owned it for a long time. Lots of options. Get a plain slice or two, hot. Been going there since like 2002. No longer Cash only yall. Support a local business. The parking sucks but use your heads, you can park and walk 20 seconds. Recently they added breakfast items on weekends. I got to sample of a couple sweet options, they were awesome! Show these guys love, man. Again, Dario is not only a great person and generous, but he's keeping a local staple going and growing and puts his heart into it. I have been going there for years since the the 70s when in high school. There are some things that happened for low rating. Older man with white hair was rude, and gave away our pizza ordered on phone to someone else, and we had to wait longer for new one ! Also would not give us cup of water when eating in. My God we just spent money and you cannot spare a cup of water ? Other than that Dominick always kind, and look for him and nice nephew when going in. Other guy should retire, is so rude and not good...
