One of the highlights of dining at Half Moon Point is the diverse and thoughtfully curated menu. There's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for refined cuisine or a more casual dish. I had the pleasure of trying their calamari, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. The ahi tuna tacos were another standout; fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, they were a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.
For the main course, I opted for the flat iron steak, and it did not disappoint. Cooked to perfection, the steak was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. It’s clear that the chefs at Half Moon Point take pride in their work, using only the freshest ingredients and expert techniques to create dishes that leave a lasting impression.
But what truly elevates the dining experience at Half Moon Point is the exceptional service. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that every need is met with a smile. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine passion for hospitality make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish.

Whether you're enjoying a cocktail at the bar or savoring your meal in the dining room, the music adds a special touch that makes your visit memorable.

Read moreFirst, let me say that the food here was absolutely delicious. We had a table of 6, and our table was spacious and set in a corner which made it somewhat private, in feeling at least. Roasted Brussel sprouts, Pork chops, Steak, we all enjoyed our meals immensely. That said, there was a table in the same room as ours, with a party of approximately 15-16 people. They appeared to have been drinking all day, and they were literally laughing, hooting and hollering at the top of their lungs. We thought that at any minute, one of the staff would come over and tell them they could not keep up this level of noise. This was a table of people who were all in their late 20's and mid 30s at least. They knew better than to behave that way, especially in a restaurant that offered high prices on their menu. Nobody wants to spend a $100.00 or more for 2 people to eat, and then have to deal with people partying at the top of their lungs right next to them. Well, our disappointment increased as nobody from the staff asked them to stop their raucous behavior. Finally, we asked to be moved to another table. We were moved to another room, outside the doors of the room with the Loud Libationers. We could still hear them but it was muffled somewhat. So, food was very good, delivered promptly and hot, restaurant decorated in a clean, modern way, staff friendly and helpful, but it dismayed us that they appeared too timid to straighten the situation out. A fight could have broken out with diners reacting to their loud behavior. It should have been handled by staff, promptly and effectively. So, I can't rate this restaurant highly. That was a volatile situation that should have...
Read moreI went for my graduation dinner thinking I was in for a fine dining experience but instead I had a disaster dinner. Everything about the restaurant was slow. They were extremely short staffed considering the number of large reservations they had and we waited an hour and twenty minutes for food. Even the drinks were slow as some people who ordered beers from the bar sat waiting for thirty minutes to receive their drinks and the very few times the waitress left the corner she stood in all night to talk to her coworker to check on our table, she neglected to bring water to fill our glasses that had been empty for 15 minutes. When we finally did get the food it was sub par. I got the lobster grilled cheese thinking it looked good and was incredibly disappointing. The sandwich was tasteless and overwhelmed by bread, the lobster meat was too thick and should've been cut into smaller pieces and soaked in some butter, they need way more cheese, the bread overpowered the sand which and I did not pay $15 to eat two thick pieces of stale toast with omg big lump of crab concentrated in one spot with one slice of melted cheese, and to top it all off it was cold which makes me think it was probably sitting on the line for at least a half hour before making it to our table. No one at my table was particularly satisfied with our meal and the waitress was either ignorant or simply just didn't care because we never saw a manager even though we were receiving horrible food and horrible service and had been vocal about our disappointment. I'm very upset that after such high hopes for this restaurant I was given the worst restaurant experience...
