When I went to pick up my pizza, pizzaboy didn’t want to give me the original one he had made for my order because he wasn’t proud with how it came out. After talking, he agreed to let me take it because I was ok with how it looked, and I couldn’t even wait until I got home to eat it. I had a slice right in the parking lot, and I can say it is hands down the best pizza in the county, and definitely the best pizza I’ve ever had. The freshness of the ingredients, to the passion and effort that goes into making the pizzas is what stands out. For anyone who says it’s “burnt”, it’s not. That’s how true pizza should be. And for anyone who says it’s too expensive, realize the dough is handmade, the sauce is homemade, and all of the ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. If it’s “too expensive”, stick to your Papa John’s or Domino’s with frozen ingredients shipped from a corporate warehouse and don’t bash on a locally family owned business. The only comparison I’ll make to Papa John’s is their slogan, but with a twist for here. Way better ingredients. Way better...
Read morePepperoni rolls are the absolute best and none come close. And let me say this, I’ve seen some people complain about “burnt” pizza here. Please. That’s char - arguably the best part of the pizza. It’s how you know a pizza was done the right way. The owner replied to one comment and said it was perfectly cooked. Couldn’t agree more! I am from Louisiana and we don’t have any good pizza. Moving up here opened my eyes to how great pizza can be and this place absolutely delivers a wonderful pie. My wife called the night before she could say anything, the kind lady said they were booked for the night. Thankfully, we just wanted pepperoni rolls and they had some, but as soon as my wife got off the phone, I said “good for them.” This place should be selling out every night. I learned tonight they have breakfast on the weekends and frankly, I hope to stop by and try it. These folks know what they are doing. Would give...
Read moreOrdered it for my crew at work yesterday before looking at any reviews. While waiting, saw reviews saying they bake it where it's more crispy and got worried. All worries left after actually trying it though. Was amazing, some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Out of the entire crew, only one person said the crust was to crispy for them, but still thought it was good. Takes longer than most places due to how it's cooked, but worth the wait. Will go again if in the area. While prices seemed high, was pretty fair with what you got. Ordered a large cheese, and small pepperoni pizza, was around 40 dollars. Which fed a working crew of 5, with leftovers, as 2 slices here equal about 4 at most places.
Staff was very pleasant, which included the owner I am assuming based on them talking, and the place was clean, as you can see them working when at...
