Boba Tea Zone used to be my go-to boba place locally in Pomona for the last 10 years. The location is now under new management, and has been renovated.
(-1 star) The classic milk tea (black) does not taste good. It has a strange aftertaste and is not sweet at all. The boba is stale and is not sweet at all.
(-1 star) The prices have increased by 45% under the new management. A "large" milk tea is now $5.75 before toppings (used to be $4). The "large" size is comparable to a "regular" size at most other stores. So a standard milk tea with boba is now $6.25.
On the positive side, the interior decor is nice, and the staff is friendly. K-pop playing on TV in the background.

Great place to hangout and get drinks. I did a class there and they were cool with me and the class staying for over an hour and a half. They even gave us the Wi-Fi password. Great customer service. Drinks were on point as well. I ordered a Thai milk tea, and I must admit, it was a little stronger than other Thai milk teas I’ve had. However, I must say I still enjoyed it. During the class, my classmates ordered an Avacado Motcha Frappe, Taro mil k tea, and a few other I forgot. Good reviews all around. This is by far one of favorite neighborhood boba and pho locations. Today I ordered the combination pho and fried rice, as always before I add any condiments I take that first spit and omg today’s broth was so amazing fill of flavor not over salted not under salted perfect golden brown broth there was no need for anything else I enjoyed every bite as is .
