First time trying this small establishment, I've passed by it many times since it opened and decided to give it a try. The place has a large counterspace walk up area and menu to place your order with many fresh fruits lining the area ready for juicing, and about 8 different aguas frescas. I ordered a tostada, which comes in a fried tostada bowl with your choice meat, I chose al pastor. The tostada has lettuce, tomato, crema, onions, beans, mexican rice, avocado, grilled onions, shredded cheese and a grilled chile, I might have missed an ingredient, but it was loaded with lots of flavor in the al pastor, which was drier than I've had before but very tasty. My girlfriend had the burrito vegetarian, which was stuffed with much of the same items that were in the tostada. She also had a tamarindo agua, which was good and not too sweet, made fresh. Today I observed an employee cutting up fruits without gloves and tossing them into vitamix blender. She proceeded to wipe down the counter, dropped wet towel onto floor, picked it up and continued to wipe counter. I advised guy taking my order that I wanted the female to wear gloves when making my Bionico. He then defended her saying she doesn't wear gloves because she doesn't handle money. He then told her of my request and directed me to an area away from food prep area so I could not see my order being prepared. Frankly I dont feel safe eating the bionico after this event.

Everyone, except the lady handling fruits, wore gloves. I observed that female serve a green drink and handle money with gloves AFTER I complained.

I came to this place wanting to try Menudo and tacos. Based on other people's reviews, I decided to give it a try. The place itself is nice, with plenty of fresh fruit water to drink and many options for fresh fruit. As far as food? The menudo was very disappointing; nothing new to me.
