Went into Kwon's to pick up some fried rice, been going to this place for 33 years, to find the restaurant was dirty, the front half lady's Gabby and or Carmen need customer service etiquette, very rude and unwelcoming. Quality has went down hill, The table surfaces were dirty, one employee had her son laying and lounging in a booth with his feet and stuff all over the table. while paying customers, some elderly had to stand waiting for a seat or table. The women whom were to provide service, hosting, waitressing instead provided cackling, rudeness and deny proper customers service. The food and famous hot sauce quality deserves negative reviews. A place that once was a hidden Gem in Pomona and was part of most of our childhood experience growing up in Pomona, has now resorted to a dump with rudeness, bad quality of food and unprofessionalism. Don't waste your money or time going to this place. It's not the same.
In addition being a Hispanic woman the rudeness that I seen given by the Hispanic ladies working the front half to other non- english speaking Hispanics was a complete shock. Since this restaurant is located in a low income area , we're most people are not well versed in technology to give yelp reviews. This a horrible disadvantage to...
Read moreThis place must have different owners cause its not the same. The food is good but they DO NOT put no more then 3 lil peices of chicken in the chicken fries rice & when you PAY for extra meat THEY STILL DON'T GIVE YOU EXTRA BUT YET THEY CHANGE YOU FOR IT. The Chicken Fried Rice is like just a bunch of rice & no meat. When you Doordash it they never give you forks, napkins soy sause or hot sauce. They service has went down here its Mexicans cooking the food now, maybe that's why they don't give you meat & or extra meat when you order it they too busy stealing the food taking it home to feed they whole damn 50 family...
Read moreI came in for Friday lunch with the family. Ordered three plates: #30 fried rice, orange chicken, and chicken/shrimp chow mein. The order was done soon enough, but what came with the meal was what made this a horrible experience. About a quarter way through, I noticed a dead cockroach sitting in the middle of my plate of fried rice. Obviously we were disgusted and promptly asked for our money back. This was not without a little pushback from one of the staff members who didn't seem to appreciate the situation. We were reimbursed and got out. Unless you enjoy your meals crawling with insects, I suggest you...
