Incredible Cuban spot hiding in plain sight. La Viña is a 5-month-old Cuban café in a worn strip mall in Tamarac, and it’s already one of the best I’ve found in South Florida. They roast their own pork, bake their own Cuban bread (both round and loaf), and make everything from scratch — including croquetas, empanadas, flan, and bread pudding. The pan con lechón is outstanding: tender, flavorful pork piled high with onions on fresh bread, plus a slab of crispy chicharrón. It’s a huge sandwich with fries or tostones for just $10.75. Easily the best I’ve had west of 95 — maybe better than anything on Calle Ocho. Croquetas are excellent — creamy, not starchy — and the passion fruit shake (batido) was cold, creamy, and perfect with the sandwich. Friendly service, generous portions, and real attention to quality. This place is a gem.

La Viña is hands down one of the best Cuban restaurants I’ve ever been to — and definitely the best in all of Broward County. The customer service is one of a kind: warm, natural, and genuinely attentive. You feel like you’re being welcomed into someone’s home, not just another table. The food? Incredible. The lechón asado and congrí are absolutely delicious, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. And the portions? Generous to say the least — you definitely get your money’s worth! Now let’s talk about the batidos — I’ve never had better milkshakes anywhere in the U.S. The mamey shake is my personal favorite, rich, creamy, and so fresh. I recommend this place 100%. Every time I visit, I leave happy and fully satisfied. If you’re craving real Cuban food and good vibes, La Viña is the spot!

Quite satisfied after a casual lunch at La Viña that has only been open for about 3 months in a humble Tamarac plaza. The location is spacious and is a casual dine in restaurant where you order at the counter. I was hesitant after seeing only one review with a low rating but that might've been a one off experience as I enjoyed my time here. They have the Cuban classics such as the sandwiches and my favorite - Vaca Frita. Choose a spot to sit and they'll bring the dish to you when it's ready. Delicious food i would definitely return. The service and hospitality were very generous - that also includes generous portions ( I quite liked that! ). Also recommend to try one of their fresh fruit juices - the mango was fresh!
