My husband and I have been dining atTheView at The Colony West Golf Course in Tamarac at least once a week after golf for the past couple months and have found The View a lovely friendly relaxing and delicious way to end his round of golf 😉 The atmosphere and the literal view is beautiful. We have always had the pleasure of having “CJ” as our server. CJ is very professional, kind, friendly and efficient. She treats you like a friend or family making you feel very welcome. Thanks for that CJ! Our various Lunch Go To selections have never disappointing. Their Cobb Salad whether with grilled chicken or crispy fried chicken is out of this world. Always fresh with a large selection of greens, salad fixings and plenty of protein. The arugula goat cheese, apple and candied walnut salad is delicious. The chicken wrap whether grilled or crispy is also delicious. And the signature item, The View Burger is outrageous! Abysmal. They have bullies on staff including the food and beverage manager, an overzealous sales manager who has delusions or aspirations of being a bouncer or some kind of security figure and they can't run basic transactions. They grab drinks out of patrons' hands and throw them down then drain as retaliation for a customer service complaint, unprovoked threaten law enforcement to leave the premises and generally don't understand how to run transactions correctly once they have your credit card. I had to personally call law enforcement on their management to get an incident on the record pertaining to their egregious misconduct. Ironically due to the demographics of their location, the venue is supported by many blacks however, the on-site Caucasian leadership need some DEI training.
