Pierogi One is finally open—and it was worth the wait!

We’ve been checking, waiting, and hoping for their doors to open, and this Saturday, we made the trek. Let me tell you—it was absolutely worth it.

This is, hands down, the best Polish food I’ve had outside of Chicago. And as a Chicago native, that’s saying a lot. The flavors, the authenticity, the care in every bite—it all brought me back to the kind of Polish cooking I grew up with. In fact, this is the best Polish food I’ve had since my mom was alive.

The pierogi were perfection—light, flavorful, and just the right texture. The kielbasa? Spot on. Everything we tried was made with the kind of love and tradition that makes Polish food so special.

If you’re looking for real Polish food, don’t walk—run to Pierogi One. They’ve set the bar high, and I’ll be coming back...
