As a food enthusiast, I am always on the lookout for the next culinary gem, and Salt & Pepper Chef has certainly struck a chord with their incredible chicken soup. Nestled in the heart of the city, this cozy and welcoming restaurant offers a unique take on classic dishes, with their chicken soup being a star player on the menu.

Upon entering Salt & Pepper Chef, you are greeted by an ambiance of warmth and sophistication. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, making you feel right at home as they guide you through the menu. The restaurant's interior reflects a perfect balance of rustic charm and modern elegance, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.

But let's get to the main event – the chicken soup. At Salt & Pepper Chef, they have elevated this comforting classic to a masterpiece of culinary artistry. Prepared with the freshest ingredients and a secret blend of herbs and spices, this chicken soup transports you to a world of unparalleled flavor.

The soup arrives at your table piping hot, with a rich golden broth that is both visually and aromatically enticing. The first spoonful reveals tender chunks of chicken that are succulent and juicy, perfectly complemented by an array of garden-fresh vegetables that have retained their vibrant colors and crisp textures. The harmonious interplay of flavors and textures is a testament to the skill and expertise of the culinary team at Salt & Pepper Chef.

But what truly sets this chicken soup apart is the depth and complexity of its broth. A delicate balance of savory, spicy, and slightly sweet notes dance on your palate, creating a symphony of flavors that is both comforting and invigorating. Each spoonful leaves you yearning for more, as you find yourself immersed in the rich tapestry of tastes that the talented chefs have woven together.

Salt & Pepper Chef has achieved a remarkable feat with their chicken soup. This dish is a true testament to the expertise and passion that the restaurant's culinary team brings to the table. If you're seeking a memorable and exquisite dining experience, look no further than Salt & Pepper Chef – your taste buds...

What a wonderful hidden jem. This is a small, 10-12 table Peruvian/Italian restaurant, The atmosphere might not be the best, but the food is wonderful, especially at unbelievably low cost. Early bird, and full dinner menu. They also do a large lunch business. We eat dinner here at least once a week, the menu is sufficient, and I try something new quite regularly. This last visit I had the Coconut Fish. While I'm not a big fan of coconut flavor, this dish was scrumptious, along with vegetables and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we all had tiramisu, which I like better than any place else. One of my friends had the chicken franchise, I think it might be the best I've What a wonderful hidden jem. I ordered from grubhub. A Mofongo which looked like someone tore it to pieces and tried to put it back together it was mixed with undercooked shrimp the sauce smelled and tasted rotten. As soon as i tasted the mofongo i immediately spit it out almost to vomit. The white rice was undercooked and the beans had a bunch of bubbles on top that looked like spit. Disgusting. My boyfriend ordered a Cuban sandwich that was burnt and fries tasted and smelled like old cooking oil. I have never ate such disgusting food in my life. As someone who cooks for people I would never serve any one food if the quality is terrible. The food and health administration should audit your establishment to check fridge temperatures, you're going to get people really sick with your food. Do better. I was looking forward to eating here since there is no Spanish food restaurants around but I rather this restaurant close down than put a bad name to the Spanish food we all...

I arrived to this restaurant in the afternoon of April 4th, 2024. My experience here was quite embarrassing and unexpected. I always thought at business establishment the consumer is always right! Taken aback this wasn’t the case at Salt and Pepper Chef restaurant. I was waiting to be greeted but instead was confronted by the waitress with a bad attitude who seated us at a dirty table. When I asked for the manager she stated the manager was not here, I asked for the table to be wiped down, but instead dropped the menus on the table. I insisted on a manager and stated I’m hungry and just want a decent meal, instead she said if you’re here to start trouble just leave! I was appalled and embarrassed. With that being said my party and I hurried out of the restaurant with such embarrassment. I will never go back there again, and suggest any decent person with morals do not support this establishment.

My mom had ordered Oxtail with yellow rice and gandules along with 3 cheese empanadas. The empanadas were good. The lady that took my money was acting weird taking my money from my hand, she didn't give me my change on my hand or my food, she put it on the table and scooted it over, maybe different customs. My mom's meal was 13$ and when I opened it to take a maduro (sweet plantain) they only gave her two pieces of oxtail. They were the bigger sized ones but still for 13$ there should've been some more oxtail, maybe this place is a smaller serving place, I don't know I don't live here. Everything in total came out to 21.75$. I'll add pics of what she got for the 13$.

A very informal, casual latinamerican restaurant with great homemade food at excellent prices. If you don't mind not having a fancy atmosphere or white tablecloths, explore this little piece of latino food restaurant and you will not be dissapointed. The seafood soup came with a big serving of rice, so it is a meal on itself, and great flavour! Then, the ceviche, a big serving of fish and shrimp accompanied by fried green plantains, was also very tasty. They have lunch specials at reasonable prices. When I'm not in the mood for an upscale place but want fresh homemade food, this is the place. I will definitely be back.
