Took my elderly parents and family out there after a long days of running around. Waiter took our order without writing anything down and got it all correct. All our appetizers and plates were good. We all were on our second and some on thirds parcha juice out of mason jars, and my dad didn’t want a whole one, and wanted what I had left in mines. I was already gonna order one to go, and I told him I would get him one. I took a slurped a drink out of it with a straw, and to my surprise I had a so I thought was a piece of ice 1/8” x 1/2”, which turned out to be glass. I was gonna bite down on it, but realized that it warmed up in my mouth and wasn’t cold. I pulled it out and showed the waiter. He was in shock and a waitress apologized, and the owner or general manager just stood looking about 5’ away. I was asked if it came out of my glass and told them yes. I inspected my glass, and nothing was broken. I picked up and inspected everyone’s glass, and my 4 yr old’s glass had a long crack down it. I asked for the to serve use in plastic cups and asked for all new drinks, and was just given the same drinks poured into plastic cups. 🤬🤬🤬 having a bill of $300, would have been nice for the in charged person to come and apologize and offer some kind of accommodation for their fault. And, as I was waiting for my parents to finish putting their food in to go trays, you hear glass being thrown and breaking in the trash in the food preparation area. I loved the place and it’s food, but that food can cost you an injury or your life. Hate to say it, but was in the area the next day, and really wanted to eat there again, but like I said, it can really cost you an injury or your life! I wish I would’ve taken a pic, because I would’ve posted It. But, they sure disposed of...

We seen the reviews before we went to this restaurant & inside the reviews there was a picture of this seafood dish. I asked the waitress if it was possible to get a dish like the one in the picture. She had to ask one of her co workers because it wasn't on the menu. There was this really nice lady that came to the table and asked what dish were you looking for. I showed her a picture of the one that was in the review and said I would like to have this dish but I would like to know what type of seafood was in it. She says there is shrimp, conch, octopus and lobster with peppers and onions on a bed of mofongo. I said I never tasted conch before, so she went to the back in the kitchen and came out with a spoonful in a classy bowl and said here try it. I tasted it and said I want everything in it. When this dish came out I couldn't believe what this dish looked like. It tasted as good as it looked. Very, very delicious. I also wanted to mention that the employees were very courteous even the parking attendant. Everyone that worked there made my wife, my aunts and I feel very welcomed.
God Bless

Read moreWell, not what we expected when we arrived for an early dinner. Thought it would be nicer by the reviews. Located in an area of what appears to be abandoned businesses by the waterfront. Upon arrival a security guard metal detects your body and looks in your purse. Never had that happen going into a restaurant. Inside was interesting with colored alcohol bottles lining the stub walls between tables. Ordered fried shrimp and sweet plantains and salad. 5 overcooked shrimp in a giant rimmed white bowl with 5 plantain in a small wire basket $20. No tarter sauce. Ordered conch in garlic butter. Tasty. Mahi Mahi in garlic butter. Overcooked fish. Skirt Steak empanada was tasty. Portions are small and presentation was lacking. Service slow but cheerful. Would...
